I am planning to change my tyres. Thinking of going with the BT-016

http://mc.bridgestone.co.jp/en/products/battlax/bt016.html. They talk about the 5 compound technology. It seems that Unique motor sports have it in stock. They mentioned about $400.

 

Has any one used this tyres before?? How is the performance

 

Just for info. Bridgestone tires tend to wear off at one side more than the other. Ask around and you will know. My stock has the same prob. So did my baby Vara in the past.

I have the problem of a side wearing out in my BT014 (stock tyre). I thought it was due to the fact that I may be sitting bit sideways, (more towards the left side by default). I also thought it may also be due to the tyre running low on air

 

Did any one else have the similar issue??

Haha You are right. Should concentrate on the major thing before anything else. BUT..... priority is not in getting the mod GSR. is the part where HUAT is involve along with the TOTO and 4D and the moment where i will shout out at the top of my voice. STRIKE LIAO AH. 1ST PRIZE AH. haha

 

Strike liao no need wait. buy and keep also shiok. Fail 10 times also can molest the bike at car park hahaha

Get a good pair of tires that can last long and grip good.

Prialli not bad if not wrong. Review like very good. Try looking around if there are time. Speaking from experiece. If the tire is badly wored. Do not ride. Seen ppl skidded for no good reason.

New year new resolution. This year its all about Saving. Top priority is saving petrol. Talked to some of the guys and some came up with intresting ideas.

1) Switching off headlight = gain 1-2bhp plus increase mileage

2) Keeping speed at 60km/h = a bit impractical

3) This is what i find most intresting. Installing an HHO kit.

Its just a switch mah. I thing jus 2ft of wire plus a simple switch can liao mah. The concern is save petrol and not gain power lah sia... U power siao issit gui.. hahaha...

 

Travel 60 i also cannot lah sia.. 600 go at 60 like can go siao ah...Can always try stick to 70 mah.

 

HHO kit. Referring to hydrogen generator kit. Supplement your petrol.

me me! i have the same issue for my stock tyres. some other people have weird wear patterns on bt-020s. so no more bridgestones for me. dunlop alpha 10s! or racetec k2..

U can check with bro Razi or i think Wildcard. They recently got theirs from (Simota or sumthing $70+)Motoworld and (KNN $80+)Regina respectively. Or u could get stock.Think should be around $32-$35. Shop dependant.
