I think what Razi said is true from the Jap site for GSR400... they may have new GSR400 coming out... with better specs.... below are my findings:

(Source taken from "http://www1.suzuki.co.jp/motor/gsr400/detail6.html" : translated by babelfish)

Gear position indicator - attaching Multiple function meter

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To proving and 16,000rpm of the high rotary Takaide force-like engine red zone of the analog tachometer which is cut starts from 13,500rpm. On meter panel left and right, the digital speedometer, twin trip meter, the fuel gauge and the temperature gauge, the digital clock, arranging the gear position indicator and various indicators.

The multi-function meter panel which administers man machine interface.

It now also comes with stock visor:

New mirror(similar to S4 mirror):

It now also has parking option on the key slot like GSR600:

One word to describe... "Hurray!!!"

That means ... more productions and prices for parts will not be those "Vintage bike" prices.... phew... Hopefully they come up with more GSR400 pipes....

parking option is for what?

I know my limits...If I change...I will change to big big cc 600 will be no more hahaha....maybe B-King. hahhah

I know I can afford it....so gonna keep away from all of these items from a while and stick to a 400cc bike. Its more affordable and can mod as much as I want (except pipes hahahah)

Don't jump the gun yet. Maybe you can talk to the shop first. I'm sure it is just a misunderstanding. It maybe an error on their side. At the moment, try not to ride the bike as it is a very serious offence. I'm sure they can settle your problem. One more thing, keep with you the receipt that you pay $1200. It will come in handy. Others? Can advice?

sorry guys off topic abit.. i'm quite puzzled with how some of my friends or collugue talking about "struts".

1) isn't strut a part of a bike or car.

2) when u ask a person: hey bro, wad bike u riding??

he answers: oh, i'm riding a strut.

= does he mean a gsxr??

i'm not too sure abt history, but from wad i noe, suzuki is the first to bring struts into the motorcycle industry.

and fit it into gsxr1000/ or a tl1000 or something like tt.. so did public just call the bike a strut to simplyfy is it??

but why won't they call the k8gsxr1000 a strut too since they have the same fitting??

pls someone correct me cause it's getting it to my head. cause i really can't imagine a guy riding a small piece of strut.. :dot:

Strut or strut bars are used in motorcars. it's used to stiffen up the chassis of a car to decrease body roll during cornering. you'll normally see this under the bonnet of the car in the engine bay, running from one side on top of the left to the right shock absorbers. they have too in the rear, same thing from left to the right of the shock absorber.

the part where you quote "oh, i'm riding a strut" is actually not "strut". it is spelled (and pronounced) "Srad". its the older model GSX-R750 (or maybe the 600s and 1000s too) probably those year 97 or 98, i'm not really sure about that. :)

SRAD refers to Suzuki Ram Air Duct(or Design)...forgot which one..its the GSXRs with the rounded tails..mostly the 1000cc variant get s'poreans excited..teh design of it, is to ram air into the airbox to pressurise it and thus producing more power. i not sure how it is done but, most new sportbikes are using this technology to produce more horsepower...

SRAD hahahah I was confused when PIE says Struts. Ya SRAD (Say in one breath). Usually refers to GSXR 1K (As wat Biomodified says). To me its still the wrong term. Describing the bike's technology instead of the name of the bike itself hehhee.

I dunno how people can come up with the terms...Juz like "Moto aku Bok Bok" or "Jatuh Bodoh". Who come up with these terms hahah. Anyway we learn along the way.
