Hey Guys, nice to see GSR riders, i m new to gsr 400, just bought it 2nd hand, just afew question, is the gsr model sound like scrooter when riding? becuase i from S4 vtec 2 change to gsr i like the design of gsr but when i ride it the sound not power le. anyone can tell me is the sound like that or is the same like S4 sound?

Ouh it's normal, Suzuki enigine sound a bit rougher than Honda..

Bro got some maths prob in the calculation,

 

235 x 36 + 3000 = 8460 + 3000 = 11460

 

That amount is less than 12k.....shop kena cheated? hehehhe

Well that depends on sprocket size. My 600 i ride in the 110 - 120 for touring. Locally i only go about 90-100. Most of the time constant 90.

The GSR is a versatile bike with a versatile engine. Ride it soft and it will jus purr along the road. Ride it hard and it ROARS. Get used to the bike. GSR is one of those bikes that actually "teaches" the owner how its ridden IF u can catch its signs.....

suzuki normally have a rough engine that signifies a distinct sound of the engine,not a scooter,have you ridden a gilera?.it vibrates while giving this stubbling sound,GSR however have this rough sheer metal 2 metal sound ,by the feel you noe how powerful the horses are,heheh in order to noe,one must ride a Suzuki,and you will feel the difference if u settle on a kawasaki khekhekehe!!!!

Depends on how fast as a rider u like to be,sum tinks 80km/h is the best cruzing mode,while others tink waaah 80 so fast 60 just nice,so it is realy up to individuals though besides,if you have ridden for a while you will noe wat type of a character you really are.heheehe:angel:

It depends on Individual. For me, its following the law. If they say 110km/h, then i go at 110km/h. Since my bike has a 7% speedo error, I would most probably b going at 118km/h hahahahha. UNLESS in danger...then you see me sped away fast fast.

 

I think I know why you say comfortable...Its because the handlebar vibrates like hell rite? You can try to change to heavier balancers or gel grips to lessen the vibrations.

Hahah made my morning.......lets see how gilera perform sgainst GSR at 140km/h or 160km/h.

 

The bike has lots of torque so do not rush during "L" period. You rush, and suffer then dunno wat to say. Learn the ride and you will be rewarded.

 

Maybe if you change exhaust, then it won't purr any more, IT WILL ROAR! hahahha. Then confirm no comparison with gilera.

Yup, I dunno is the engine sound so smooth n the exhast no sound until that is the only bike I can think off. N yup I ride gilera runner before. This bike is fun but make me become a very safety rider@.@

guys guys, theres nothing wrong selling it cheap... most probably, the only reason they have to sell it cheap is becoz its a repossess bike...
