I've read in the previous page on enquiries on PC3..if u dun mind i cud shed some light..Ive installed mine at Racewerks and using the module meant for GSR600...price $599(module and tuning) but that was abt a few months ago..anyway, recommended to use aftermarket filter as dun hve to retune again in the future if u intend to change..retuning of the PC3 requires another dyno run which costs ard $150++..so might as well change to aftermarket air filters when fixing up ur PC3..then juz keep ur stock filter as spare if ur aftermarkets requires cleaning and reoiling..

so wats the difference in ur 1st dyno run report and your 2nd dyno run report??? did u notice any difference in the report??

if u do dyno run with a fresh stock filter, the next time u change ur stock filter, need to do a dyno run again??

if u do a dyno run with an aftermarket filter, u dont need to do a dyno run again after u reoil or clean the aftermarket filter?? how clean can an aftermarket filter be after reoiling or cleaning, compared to a brand new fresh from the box stock filter??

actually i saw it at MW before you posted on forum..and i was thinking the same thing. Its pretty and nice, but not anti-theft.

Alternatively can buy those POSH/Racing Boy engine oil filler caps. Waaay cheaper. Breather cap and boost bottle also have. Wahahaha

its called a handlebar brace....Its to prevent the handlebars from flexing at high speed. Good for people using aluminium handlebars or, like scramblers, places that are of tough terrain.

If you are looking for looks only, go buy from LAB...cheap cheap.

Just got back from morning makan (sahur). Missus wanted to eat at McD for a change. Hahahah.. Tried the MEGA McSpicy. It was a freaking horror scene. The chicken patties were overwhelming plus the sesame seed bun was disintegrating. Hahahahha... Hard to eat....

yeah slight difference...actually it was a slight drop in horsepower as my tuning parameters was going for fuel economy...i dunno y but wit the gsr, for my liking i like to change gears at 7k rpm or more and i'm getting ard 21-22km/l..

with the stock filter, you dun need to redyno whenever you change air filtersjuz make sure you have a clean one to start with...however if you change to an aftermarket air filter frm stock, you mite want to redyno, to extract watever horses that can be unleashed..but dun expect 10hp gains...

It might not be as clean as out of the box but at least its cleaner, its the higher flow of air from the aftermarkets tat we're after, in which the stock doesn't really provide...

What the petrol consumption like for a GSR 400? What grade would u recommend, 95, 98 or V-Power?

Like the S4....same...its a 400cc road bike.

Grade of petrol, follow the recommended fuel grade in the manual....95, 98 or V-Power all can. It depends on how deep your pocket can go.

So 1 full tank can hit how many km for GSR 400? :cheeky:

Depends on ur riding style, the journey and the bike itself. The FC is between 21km/l to 25km/l. Get any lower milage means its your problem or the bike problem.

Since its a 16 litre tank, at most can get about 336km to 400km. Please do not let the petrol run dry as it will damage the fuel pump in the long run.

Please note, new bikes do not have reserver tank, if it says 16......it means 16 litres

dont mind me saying this, im no noob in bikes... but ur explanations are good enuf to the noobs out there..

so what is the slight difference?? mind attaching ur dyno report in here?? so that everyone can know the slight difference ur talking abt.. share the knwledge..

gsr600, at 6.5k rpm, u can feel the bike sucking the fuel more than 6k rpm and at 6.5k rpm it starts to deliver more power. thats my bike observation. i cant even hit 17km/l...
