What do you mean, changes loads of stuffs?

If you mean changes to the bike, none at all for PC3.

For a 400, no changes needed.

You can install the PC3 on a stock bike and tune as such.

For a 600, you need to install a Hot O2 sensor eliminator (its just a plug with a resistor at the end). Its a straight plug-in and no modifications required.

PC3 will not change any settings on your bike. It simply intercepts the signals from the ECU to the engine and modifies that signal to the parameters specified during the tuning phase.

No changes to your ECU or anything.

If for any reason you want to revert back to stock and take out the PC3, all changes can be undone. In fact, no changes are required to be undone.

If you use alternative tuning methods, there will be changes.

Teka mapping modified your mapping directly in the ECU.

Tuneboy as well.

Bazzaz replaces your ECU unit with their own, as with a Yoshi ECU.

Note to all forumers. Dont settle for the crap "SHOG*N" sliders you find at a particular shop that has the word moto and world in it. Ignore the pushy sales staff and head on elsewhere.

Unless you want only this to remain of your sliders as a result of a "hit and run" on your parked motorbike.

Same thing happened to my frens silder on his FZ1N wen he low slided while negotiating a left bend and trying to steer away from an oil patch..

The left slider juz broke into pieces upon impact..

But I forgot to ask him wat brand it was..

Most likely it's Shogun too, it's da one with a thin metal piece on the ends..

Its the same GSXR engine with a smaller diameter piston and perhaps a shorter stroke.

This was confirmed by a rider here who had to have a major top overhaul which involved stripping the top part till the piston is visible.

As Motofreak said, any engine that's maintained within the manufacturer's spec will be reliable.

I had this stigmatic problem with my TLR.

People see my bike and ask me, "Why you buy that bike? Not problematic, meh?" In my 3 years I rode it, the only serious damage I had with it was a blown fuel pump, which was my fault as I tend to ride with reserve fuel quite often.

Same with the GSR. Just because its a new model (at that time) people always think its problematic and unreliable.

The question comes into mind is, how come everyone says that the S4 is super-reliable even though it has a known major history: the famous rectifier issue.

Where its acknowleged that the rectifier will burn out quite often, even under normal use.

That S4 riders had to change batteries more often than any other model (understand about once a year) and, check this part out, some old-timers recommend replacing the Honda OEM rectifier with.... a Suzuki Bandit400 one.

yes i agree with u bout the S4. and thank for the explan of the engine. i may be get one gsr400. cos H*nda maintain is not cheap also... as a ex S4 rider.. if the condidtion is the same might as well get a garang 1.

Juz ignore others saying this prob that prob....all bike sure have prob one. Its only how minor or major the prob iis. No perfect bike....hhhmmmm maybe Ducati Multistrada (I can dream, Can't I?) hahhaha.

The answer is Yes and No. Why I say that, because there are different air-fuel controllers/adjusters in the market. There are Power Commander, TuneBoy and Teka Mapping to name a few. There are many more in the market.

Power Commander uses the piggy back method. If you intend to map directly in the ECU, you can consider TuneBoy or Teka Mapping.

Do read these up before posting more questions coz I am sure most of the seniors getting tired of answering the same questions. The info is available in their respective websites.

A quick way to find is by googling or searching. All will have its own pros and cons. There is no one very good device hahah.

Anyway by right, you do not need to tune the bike since the only change is the end cans. Tuning will help to get the optimum performance for the bike.

Ok, jokes aside.

I just got confirmation on this a moment ago.

If you receive any email from someone you know via their Hotmail account, saying they're in UK and met with some trouble and need cash, please be careful.

I received an email from an ex-GSRean here, Acesiew (some of you may remember him).

Gist of email:

How are you doing? I am presently attending a program in London UK, and I have a problem that I need your help to resolve; I was attack and robbed by thieves two days ago on my way to my hotel where I lodged. They made away with my bag, wallet containing my credit card and my cell phone. I have reported the issue to the police but they are yet to apprehend the culprits and recover my stuffs. Due to this mishap; especially losing my cell phone and my contact diary, I am incommunicado with my family and friends. I need to get another phone soon to keep in touch with my loved ones; I know they will be very worried by now. Am wondering if I can loan $1500 from you, to buy a new a phone and also to help myself with other things I'll need here until am able to re-arrange myself, I promise to pay back soon.

Anticipating you reply at the earliest to my request!!

Regards

Ace

PS: I will appreciate any amount you can afford to assist me with ASAP.

Curious coz I have not heard from him for quite some time and wanting to help but cynical as I always am, I replied asking for his family contact here in SG so I can relay this info to them and provide assistance through them where needed.

The reply came an hour ago:

Hi,

Am sorry for the late reply to your email, i could not access my email due to the weekend. I tried calling up but could not get through, it is out of coverage area. Will try calling again later. To get the money to me, please use western union money transfer http://www.westernunion.com to wire the money to me, I had used western union before and affirmed it easy, convenient and quick to receive here in London.

My information to wire:

Name:

Address: 1 Standard Court, Park Row,

City/Zipcode: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG1 6GN.

Country: United Kingdom

Email me the confirmation details After initiating the transfer. Hope to hear from you soon.

Warm regards

Ace

I did a search on that address with "scam" as the filter and Bam!

http://www.tenerifeforum.com/490620-post5.html

Farkers....

Using an old friend's email to scam me.

Almost fooled me except for Mr Google's help.

So guys, be careful.

I posted here coz this involved a GSRean's email account and I know a few ex-GSRean whose email have been compromised.

Hi bros,

See the attached design.

Comments

------------

1. To have all black T-Shirt. Please remove the grey sleeves and collar.

2. Kinda agree full black would be nice. The red bike kinda too dark. Perhaps yellow would create a better visibility. White also can.

3. Sweet! Nice design! Agree with Motofreak, the contrast for the bike should be lighter in color.

Now deciding if to do through SBF's official supplier.....

Another update. Can't find a suitable place for BBQ on the 28th. Plus other disturbing news.

Monsoon. Unless we have another location we can chill when it rains then its worthwhile. At the moment at all the coasts, kinda dangerous.
