hello everyone... would like to ask something about GSR400.

wats the fuel consumption like?

tyre size 120 for front 180 for rear?

oil sump capacity? as in how many litres for oil change with n without oil filter.

is parts/aftermarket parts available as this is a relatively new bike?

wat r the shops recommanded that offer slightly lower prices? or which r the bike shops that have GSR400 in stock?

need some info for considerations... thanx in advance...

i'm more interested in normal riding style. ie normal pick up n normal cruising speed of 100km/h at expressways. bike will b more on transport for work n not for touring so top speed is not an issue for me.

for GSR400, can go up to 190km/h rite??

tank size is 16.5l including reserve of abt 2l.

when the last bar on the fuel gauge starts blinking, u got abt 40km of travel left

before the bike goes dead.

oil change is:

- 3.2l w/o filter

- 3.4l w/ filter

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

oil change is:

so the average FC for GSR400 is ard 20km/l based on the riding style of individual riders?

so oil change is always 4 bot of EO no matter wat... so change oil filter every oil change sounds like a better deal... btw, how much is the oil filter?

yes, thereabouts. i underestimate it at 20km/l, but most can go do better.

however, its better when you have a better gauge of your own petrol consumption.

you may not need 4 bottles. some shops provide package services and count the extra

oil you need in 0.1l increments. they might even throw in the oil filter.

suzuki oem oil filter costs about $16. i'm not sure about other brands.

the only difference between 400 & 600 dashboard is that the tachometer for 400 ends at

16k rpm while the 600 ends at 18k rpm.

edit: rpm range

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

so +/- is about the same as S4.

i would appreciate if someone takes the trouble to take a pic of the GSR4's dashboard.

so to say, GSR4 have a lower rpm range compared to S4. S4 is until 15k rpm but power cut to ard 13k. so wats the red zone rpm for 400??
