Morning everyone. This is a long shot seeing that there's no new updates to this thread since last year but here goes.  I just got me a 2007 GSR400  and was wondering if there's a group still fun

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

Doubt it can be hidden with a GSR. I love the Nautilus horn. This is the one to use. Previous experience was that people, taxi/car/truck drivers don't care even when I use my twin Stebel horns which were already quite loud. But with the new Nautilus, they just freeze. Those SMT mount LED are rather sensitive to heat , U got to fast hand fast leg when doing soldering , best is to use those iron with temperature control but your action must be still fast also. Or else u can say bye bye to the LED. :cheeky:

sia117, where did u fix the rack n base plate for ur topcase? i got one which is the hepco n becker rack but givi base plate. not as sturdy as urs leh...

Hi bro, i fix at Looi's at $200 net. I think they only have last set liao....dunno whether they still have or not. maybe u can go down n check wif them. ok.:smile:

dun think will go down. now i'm thinking of ways to stablise the topcase using something else... the H&B rack is $180. dun wanna waste another $200 just bcos the H&B rack no go.

hi guys. sorry to interrupt. can i check with all where can i get cheaper pipercross air filter for gsr400? and where do i get cheaper motuvation sliders? is it okay to do grounding for gsr400?

pipercross and motovation sliders can be had at equipment extreme & motovation

accessories respectively. do a search in the advertiser's section.

 

how much you pay depends on:

1) whether you can get 2nd hand stuff

2) you personally know someone who can get you a better price

3) your skill at successful bargaining

 

 

yes, you can do grounding on this bike.

but, grounding is a very subjective thing. some swear by it, others think it's nonsense.

do your own research & come to your own conclusions.

Yap, I still leave the orignial soft horn on. Switch to old one for inspection.

 

The Philips X-Treme is a new type of bulb just released in 2007. Not in Singapore yet. Maybe $80 if they release here. For the best value, use Philips Premium(less than $10).
