How long it takes to hit 272?

 

On stocks. tis bike can hit 135km/h on 2nd gear.

 

How long? Im quite surprise myself that it can hit that speed in a while... i didnt measure whats the distance it took to reach that speed, but i did a guage, from this point to another point..NWHW.

I wonder 272km/h is consider damn good on this bike. Never think that this 600cc can go up to this speed. What i everytime heard is abt 235km/h only.

Was with WildCard on Malacca Trip from 31/12/2006 - 1/1/2007

We tried 210-211-212km/h

And at tat speed with a naked bike.

You think and see nothing only the road ahead !

Didn't even think of looking at the RPM.

 

On my previous GSXR-400L model

I did a meter break at 245km/h

with yoshi ram air and advancer mod.

 

Tis GSR haven find anyone who can mod anything.

600cc sure can hit 280km/h........

I have a PC3 fixed on my GSR600.

1st hit was 260km/hr

2nd hit was 262km/hr

3rd hit was 272km/hr

 

I looked at the speed.... coz thats why i test it..if u test yet never glance at the meter, might as well u dont try right...

Its ok man... no harm done...Like what wildcard stated before, our rear shock cannot be recondition. If its faulty or leak, needed to be change...

 

Yeah what i think also its the front fork cannot be fully tuned to ur requirements. I need to tune my rebound, compression and preload..

I almost flew at 272km/hr on this GSR... but i already fly at 302km/hr on my R1... FYI only

272 for a Naked 600 is sure good results

Yosh, I did that on my R1 previously. yup it do work...thats a definite, but when comes to the FC, it is way damn high...But it comes with power....

Another way is, not to make a big hole...what can be done is, drill more holes on the air intake side.. If u think theres too much air coming in, at least u can cover up most opf the holes.. Having a tube from modified holes on the air intake box to the front is a good way for a direct RAM air..

 

Actually, I have started of doing it to my GSr eversince i got it, just like what i did to my R1 previously. But no free time.. Maybe we can find 1 day, we gather and cater 12hrs to do it together...

I'll see what magical idea I can conjour.

But actually having too much air is not a bad thing. The concept of cutting a bigger opening vs open airbox is that you are merely increasing airflow, reducing friction and providing a better air-supply to the airbox while maintaining the required pressure within the airbox with a bigger opening.

The primary & secondary throttle valves will still control how much air is being let into the combustion chamber.

An open airbox will lose air pressure but maintain even more air, trading top-end for mid-range grunt.

As I've mentioned before, change the rear shock for an old refurbished 96-98 GSXR750 rear shock. Outfit it with aftermarket springs and recondition it at a professional tuner's shop and you'll get an adjustable suspension on par with an Ohlins for a fraction of the price. And its servicable.

For the front, if someone is serious about changing to USD shocks, get those off a street bike or motocross bike. Dun use those off a sportsbike. Its too short.

Relax. Its his money and plan.

But vendeta, like I said, no need to think about all of this first.

Make sure your basic maintenance is in place.

A rusted chain is one of the easiest puzzles to solve.

Make sure you can figure that one out first before jumping up too high...

we all bought this bike cos we like e bike...

in terms of its looks n specs...

 

y issit ppl are toking abt modifying e bike??? especially so when its less den a month old (in e case of vendeta) n running is not even completed???

if u have issues wif this bike's performance, y buy it in e first place??? only to complain that its not performing well and u wanna mod this n that...
