hrmz..

the K8 GSR's look like they come with the instrument panel protector, the kind

that puffer has. also, new mirrors, maybe designed to counter the vibration on

the right..

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

personally, i did a soft run-in. If u wanna do the hard one, u gotta start hard frm beginning.

at the end of the the day, its a personal choice. There's no right or wrong. only on the soft method its safer- safety wise.

Guys,

Those interested to get the Givi panniers, add yourself to this list. I'm not getting it yet as I have to concentrate on another project first.

But I will help talk to the agent about a group buy.

Before I can chat with them, need to have a good idea of how many people are interested.

Current est. price $900+.

1.Murinus

2.supersonic

3.

4.

5.

Is this mass order still on ?

I have one question. Do you guys experience that the front fork dips quite a lot when going over humps? I placed cable ties to measure the amount the fork dips and was quite shock of how much it dips. If this is an isolated problem, I guess I will need to see a mech.

It could be it is set to extra soft. How to adjust the screws on the fork? Clockwise or Counter Clockwise to make it stiffer?

To my knowledge its set to the mid-range. Do note that the dip length is also dependant on ur speed when going over the hump. Question is, how much is "too much"? U gotta have a comparison to answer that.

I suggest u don worry so much until u've compared with a few other bikes.

Cheers!

Its coz of the bike's weight.

Plus your own weight.

I've had it set to maximum preload.

Now using 15w fork oil.

Much better.

But I would recommend replacing the fork springs and valves for aftermarket ones if you have the cash. Costs only a small fraction of a upside-down fork conversion.
