yah! you better get a revo it is cheaper too! 13.8K with ABS somemore...

i couldn't agree more.

S4! S4!! S4!!!

whats so good about GSR???

you'll only find out till you ride 1...

S4 better. the never get old technology.

BTW wanna ask. Does the bike's engine sound louder when using malaysia's petrol? Mine seems to sound louder than b4. Or issit that the bike has been whacked and the gears and engine is gone case liao..... **** SHOULD HAVE CONTAIN MY URGE TO SPEED.....

whacking of bike will have gears n engine goner? come on man... if the bike can give u the rev on the rev meter, as long as its out of the red zone, the bike is fine. in fact, this bike is able to hold up to the abuse.

Seriously tho, the bike gives me a more rumbling feel when I use Esso as compared to me using Shell...

I used Shell 98 when I went into GP the first time and used Mobil F1 the second time and I do feel the coarseness somehow...

Even my brother who used Esso for his car felt the coarseness before switching to Shell...

I dunno whether it is just me or my brother, or there isn't much of a difference... but yeah, my own experience tells me there is something about the petrol we use too...

I have tried Caltex Platinum (before they increased the price again!) and that was the smoothest feeling I have ever gotten, even when riding at low speeds...

But hey! Its soon time for an EO and filter change... maybe I can get a better judgement after that...

Sigh...

and hopefully the Malaysian govt abandons the idea of having separate systems for foreign and their local motorists...

Although well, it is good for Singapore's economy as it increases domestic consumption should Singaporeans end up fueling in Singapore, thus enabling us to ultimately have a stronger currency in the long run...

its the octane that is causing the coarseness. lower octane will cause pre-detonation for high compression engines. hence alot of knocking. higher octane will somehow give a quiet operation. BUT quiet n smoothness dun mean power. that is a misconception amoung all bikers n drivers. the octane will determine how smooth the operation will b.

anyway, if go malaysia, i recommand petronas. locally, caltex gold shd b good. grade 98 gives a smooth operation but 95 n 98 r considered premium petrol so actually, both oso can use. which to use depends on ur pockets.

Hi guys... Was just wondering if the touch up markers for cars and bike are the same. Example is that Suzuki produces both cars and Bikes, so does the colour code for the car and bike differs but means the same thing or does it really is diff in one way or another.

Was thinking of getting a touch up marker for my bike. Thinking where can i get the colour to my bike. In the website it was quoted as YHL. Is this the colour code?

wat do u wanna do this time round?

Cool... cool... I didn't mean in the serious sense bro...

It was more of a innocent remark to laugh off to considering the repeated enquiries that did, if you see from the perspective of a non-forumer visiting for the first time, portrayed a sort of official club like status...

And like you, I agree to the fact that it better off this way -

A portrayal of friendship among enthusiasts, bonded by the love of the ride and the experiences that are shared together, culminating in an unrivalled respect and consideration for one another...

we r not official club. cos we dun wanna commit. not just the chairman have to commit, the member oso have to commit. probs will start to arise from there. so instead, we r the an informal club. we do wat we like. from mini gatherings that is always organise to event for all to gather once in awhile. this is the way this club works. easy going. :thumb:

To me, ermax shields and even GIVI ones doesnt look good at all...

and to think that this is especially made for GSR and its not available... hmmm...

Anyway that windshield does look a bit weird as well. Breaks the clean and sleek line of the bike. Totally dun go well with the bike. Would be nicer if the angle of the screen is steeper..

Like I always tell people....Brake hose also not important....Most important is windshield....I mean you got engine brake...what more do you need. heheheh

Muz cut air so no need to strain neck, which is connected to the body, which will work out to the arms....etc etc....see see...all got link. Its the rider and not the bike heheheh.

Ok here is what i understand from looking at EJ helping me to open my tank.

1. Open the two screw for the side signal fairing at the side.

2. Unscrew the pop screw at the immobiliser where u insert ur keys.

3. Under the immobiliser, there is a bracket thing that require u to unscrew 4 nuts. Unscrew them.

4. Take both the side signal fairing off by sliding off the hook.

5. Lift the tank up and use the tank holder to hold the tank up.

6. Look at the fabulous electronics of the bike... :giddy:

Ok... since we are on this fabulous topic....

Anyone knows why my the plastic cover for my immobilizer is a little warped at the Suzuki symbol area?

Is it because its normal wear and tear (as in due to expansion and contraction?)

Or cos I didnt put it properly the first time round?

However, I only started noticing its a little warped a week after washing my bike....

It didnt look at all irregular until I noticed it recently...

Any way to rectify it?

So Flareon, wanna cut and design the mesh? ahaha... its big enough for two radiators right?

Warped? :giddy: Maybe u left out the hook at the lip of the plastic. That is supposed to hold onto the 2 side signal covers.
