hey guys, i am thinking of installing some really bright and white front bulbs for my bike.. so can turn nsw night time to day ;p

any recommendations on wad i can get and where i can get them? what is all about the Hid light or H4, H5 etc.. can explain?

I won't recommend that you change the headlight bulb to HID. It is illegal, unless you have money, then not an issue.

Maybe you would want to invest in Fog lamps. Its like an add-on to the headlights. Its still illegal. The good thing is that you can mod it so can be detached. Juz an idea, in the end, its still your choice.

You may want to read up on this on HID and others

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Headlight

From what I know H4, H7, H3 are the sockets. Our current bikes are using H4.

As for foglamps, you can try Autobacs or other car shops. Best if th shops specialise in adventure vehicles.

It can be found in car accessory shops, for installation you need expertise from our light engineers like ej or boy boy.:thumb:

H4, H7 and all those numbers refer to the type of bulbs. GSR uses the H4.

The H4 bulb is the only bulb (i think) that can have both high and low beam with one bulb
