Morning bros ... I like to ask a question some fellows GSRs here ...

Anyone has installed the Power Abuser on their GSR? Can you review how good it is? I thought of installing one on my Baby GSR because I have heard from reviews on the Power Abuser thread that it improves performances on their bikes. But I have not heard any reviews of Power Abuser on GSR yet. So I thought maybe I can ask here from any GSR riders who have installed it ... anyone?

I recently also heard of this "RevTec Impedance Stabiliser" ... anyone has it on their GSR? Any good about this?

RevTec Impedance Stabiliser : http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170641

I am in dilema on which one to get? It seems both products have good reviews ...

Dun tell me to get both hor ... I was hoping to "enhance" my baby GSR performances, that is why I am looking for these "enhancers" ...

Hope to hear from some GSR bros who have them installed ...

Cheers,

Cyrix

I have revtec on mine. Now used to it already, feel no different. Anyway mine is taken from my old ride so no cost incurred. hehehe....

Like most of them would advice, get a PCIII. More worthwhile.

If still not happy, can change bike (kaozie) hehehe.

Can you elaborate how "more worthwhile" can PCIII be? Becos I know for one thing ... PCIII has three modes and it is very costly .... :(

If the above revtec can archieve better performances for GSR, I dun mind getting it ... :)

Revtec only disturb the vehicle's voltage. PCIII disturb the vehicle's engine. So 2 very different product.

I planning to get mine done with PCIII as soon as Pipes are available for the 400cc. Which is........dunno wen. Then can put the PCIII LCD terminal, set 2 settings, race & econo mappings, + quick shifter. Then those, play punk with me, set to race mapping + quick shifter. Then really can change gear at 14k without clutch hahhaha.

Anyway its up to you. It maybe psychological effect or maybe for real. The improvement not much for Volt Stabs. Maybe can improve the battery life.

Bro ... I know PCIII can have three modes ... but I heard that it has to be set before moving off because the switch is underneath the seat. Can we put the switch to the handle bar? While we are moving, we can change the settings?

What is a quick shifter? Is it the switch for changing the PCIII settings/modes?

How much are you quoted for the PCIII? I only enquire it at racewerks and they told me roughly $500++ ...:(

Truthfully. Snake-oil. Your bike is new. And even if there are improvements. Its as close to nothing. So no point in getting such stuff. The best and ONLY options is to get a PC3. Improvements are vast and PROVEN. Trusted by every biking enthusiast all over the world. Not some pathethic product that claims does this and this but no through testing was made. Yes it claims it stabilises voltage or current or what so ever. But did they test it on every single god dam type and model of bike to see its effects on each bike? Dun waste on snake oil, get a PC3. Its like getting some cheap black market sex drugs but end up killing yaself. :thumb:

PC3 is tested n proven. PA2 n revtec is not. they only smoothen the current flow in the system using capacitors. so imagine spending so much on capacitors, to me, its not that worth. n not forgetting that PA2 n revtec had cases of current leak causing the batt to b weak.

it is still up to individual. u like u install, dun like dun install. that provided u have the cash to play with.

we had riders previously installing PA2, PA ignite n GI pro ATRE. all these will cost up to $500+. if PC3 was in the market then, i believed they would have install PC3 instead of the 3 above which had minimum improvement to their ride.

Thanks so much for all your valuable opinions... I was really hooked into getting PA2 or revtec because they are around my spending budgets ... but after hearing you guys... I think I better hold my gun and further research on PCIII ... it really look tempting especially having good comments from you experienced riders ...

Maybe I will wait till I have enough money and get a PCIII ... time to do some savings ... PCIII .. my next aim!!!

Thanks alot bros!

No need for the whole package. Just the core package is sufficient. Meaning jus the PC3. All the other additional stuff is for losers that dun know how to ride a bike proper. Khehhahahaha... Quickshifter my arse... LCD is jus additional cosmetics. All u need is jus a lappy or a 1 time professional mapping. Settings can be made on the core PC3 itself.
