I'll be making my way to Motoworld today to measure the circumference of the pipe. Not because I am crazy, thinking of putting muffler sliders only. Maybe next month then do the order. So hopefully in december can fix, tune with PCIII and test on road hahahah. I think the damage will be a little under $2k for all my needs hehhehe. Muz start saving now!!!

Its kind of speed detector that advice your speed so u will be aware that u might be travelling above the speed limit... Good to check on ur speedo accuracy... But i think if we test it on higher speed then it will be more accurate as slow speed usually accurate one

got new info on revo...

 

according to manual:

revo travelling at 60km/h will get 31km/l.

 

vtec 1 travelling at 60km/h will get 38km/l.

for vtec 2 n 3, shd b ard there as well.

 

gsr travelling at 60km/h will get 35.5km/l.

 

so in conclusion, revo 400 can compare with gsr 600 in terms of fuel consumption. n average FC for revo is 18 - 20km/l. that is running in stage. imagine after run in, it ain't any better unless they r riding slower.

 

but nevertheless, revo is still the best!!

revo is heavier than gsr leh. n alot heavier compared to the older models. think the revo riders r going to cry. even installing PC3 or HKS can improve the fuel efficiency, but consider the amount needed to b spent on PC3 n HKS, not worth...

I poured a cap full of acetone in my tank last fuel top up. Guess what. I did worsen my petrol consumption. From my usual 20 - 21. Drop to 18...

a naked revo is 194kg, with ABS 199kg.

a bold'or is 198kg, with ABS 203kg.

 

lets take it that ABS kit is 5 kg. comparing the non ABS n ABS.

 

a gsr is 188kg, so with ABS is 193 kg.

 

the weight difference is there. n not forgetting the engine characteristic is very different for the 2 bikes. thinking that revo got better FC is a misconception. now everyone is waiting for someone to give the average FC for revo.

most likely its riding style. its very unlikely that the petrol got vaporised in the tank. if the petrol can get vaporised when the fuel cap is locked, then there might b a risk that rain water can seep in during a heavy down pour.

I put FP60, it gives me 20km/l

I din ride and with FP60, it gives me 19km/l. Twice already.

 

How come a 600 GSR FC is the same as a 400? Wah Kaoz.

4 days only? mine ever 5 days never touch the bike, oso park in the open with cover. n every wk, at least there is 3 days that i wun b riding the bike. n that is in camp n oso park in the open with cover as well. so, petrol vapourised? impossible.

 

so its time for u to grab a revo n sell ur gsr. they r short of members n we have alot already.
