hello GSRians..I am contemplating to get a GSR 400.smitten by its good look...however, anyone have technical specs of this mean machine?

1) Any technical problem with this bike?

Yes, its too addictive.

 

No la, no major technical issues. Small minor ones that are more of an inconvenience rather than critical (vibrating mirrors, etc).

 

2) FC?

Between 19km/l to 20+km/l depending on how you ride and what accessories / mods you have.

 

3) whats the price tag now and which shop have the best deal?

On the way back from Melaka headed towards Machap. I spotted some rain drops. Looking up i realised i still can make it on time without getting wet. Looking behind i noticed the other 2 riding at a snail pace. hahahah.. So i decided to break off from the pack. Went off on my own first. It withstood 230+km/h on the downhill portion and constant cruising of 160km/h to 180km/h all the way till Machap.

 

:bouncefire: Aweee man how i wished i had a camera mounted at that time. Its just foooking crazy... I was like flashing my high beam like nobody business. Hahhaahha... I sorta made it to Machap 30mins earlier and waited for the guys. They eventually arrived with raincoats on.. Khehehehe...

 

wah!!! first hand approval of the product...i am convinced...

omg...160-180kmh cruising speed and top speed of 230++kmh??!!!...

 

anyone care to just advice how fast out bikes can go, "officially",

for both the 400 and 600 cc?...it will help me decide on my next 2A bike...keke...

anyone got tank bra to let go? I self skidded yesterday and theres a dent on my tank as my handlebar bent as a result of the impact. Damn the diesel.

anyone got tank bra to let go? I self skidded yesterday and theres a dent on my tank as my handlebar bent as a result of the impact. Damn the diesel.

MOTOVATION SLIDER MASS ORDER

 

i am consolidating a MO list for motovation sliders for GSR 400/600 to get a better price.

 

Bro swoosh was consolidating the orders previously but i will be doing it on behalf for him now.

there are 4 sliders for our bike. market prices for the sliders are listed below.

 

1) Frame sliders - $75

2) Front Fork sliders - $50

3) Rear Axle sliders - $60

4) Swing Arm sliders - $40

 

for the MO pricing, i have yet to confirm but hoping to get a really good price with more orders.

 

sliders have to DIY or if you want can bring to your fav grease monkey to install for you. easy to DIY also.

 

Last order for sliders will be 7 Sept. 2 weeks for the MO.

 

i will not be online everyday so pls be patient if you have enquires. another thing is i will not be earning a single cent. watever price the supplier quote will be your price.

BTW, i test rode a fren's revo.... quite smooth la... but the size like very small like that.... Not suitable for fat ppl... hehehe

u can always source for aftermarket ones. i personally recommand pipercross foam filter. y? i tell u tmr.

Glad u re ok bro... be careful for the 1st 150km after changing the tire as this is the critical stage as what u said the wax is still there...

Furthermore its a rainy day so need extra careful...
