If not sold but this wk.. the worse case to push to shop sad case.. Shop take in at the highest $2500.. Thats y am selling my bike at $2500 cash and carry

Ok, well the fact that none of us knew it was for sale... and the fact that it isn't regularly bumped in the scooter sales sticky here means that you really aren't trying very hard....

 

Asking 2500 for a modded PX200 with no pictures isn't really going to turn many people on...

 

Why not try posting another add in the sticky with lots of detail pics this time... If the price is right you will find a seller...

 

Oh and a shop is not going to offer you 2500 for a modded PX200... Otherwise how would they ever make a profit selling it on afterwards???

 

 

It is true that scooters practically sell them selves... but I think you're taking this mantra a little too literally!

Where else have you advertised it? Yahoo Auctions? The newspaper?

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to get a good price for the scoot... you just need to wait for the right buyer... Selling to a shop is the worst thing you can do... How about putting it up for sale at tong aik? Its an option surely...

 

Are you in a real rush to sell? Its not got to be in a rush... esp when folks see how fast you are to lower your price...

Registered 12/04/1993 Vespa Excel P150XE (Square headlight)

Colour : Orange / Green Cowls

COE till December 2012.

Road Tax till 11/05/2008.

Transfer fee $67.

Condition : Accident free! slight dent on right cowl. Electric Starter. Engine running great. rear top box 45litre. Paintwork good except for right cowl. Regular servicing at Ah Joo.

 

Asking $800 negotiable.

 

Passed 2A! Got my new 400cc bike!

haha you should have left a piece of paper with your contact on the bike instead of trying your luck here..cos ur not likely to get so lucky in here.. :cheeky: anyway, i also want an AL plate vespa!! :lovestruck:

hey guys, recently after i go above 70km/h my idle speed jumps really high and stays there. the next morning when i start the bike its back to normal again. as long as i dont push the engine it doesnt happen. anyone experienced this before? could this be an air leak or failed engine seal?

Hey guys, does anyone knows if Excel can use regular PX seat? My father in=law upgrading to a Maxi scooter, I wanna take over his Excel. But i wanna change the headlight/handlebar and seat to PX type..

narcx... likely a failing clutch side seal... be very cafeful until you can get a mechanic to look at it... It could well be engine rebuild time...

 

Terrible one... I think the px seat is slightly shorter than the excel one... I don't think it'll be a straight swap.

The last time i asked ah joo, the wirings are different and the headset and handlebars need a bit of work. Can cost quite a bit! You'll also need to knock away the straight frame on the backside just above the tail lights. Will need to respray after all the work. $$$
