:thumb: up for STA, i've always went there for inspection. Btw watz with the signal light issue about? I thought AR shudnt b a problem..

hey hey, everything about my bike is okay , just that the front signal light, i stick them la. and thy were nice enought to advice me instead of drilling hole to attach signal lights, it's better to put a bracket to it, more stablise. and on the inspection form, it stated on the remarks section, "item 18 to affix front indicator using bolt and nut. otherwise overall result pass. BTW my scooter needs a indicator rightfully. i think AN (1974) and below do not need one.

Hi all, Im thingking of buying a classic vespa and sell off my S4.

Reason (1)- Im getting a car soon and thus "downgrading". (2)-Been admiring Vespa for a very long time now.. Rode scramblers, sports bike, road bike but not yet a vespa so im thinking of converting real soon.

However, I have no idea which shop to go look for classic vespa, and what price range can i expect?

Thank you soo much for your time and replies.

Check out the wiki http://www.vesporeanfaq.wikispaces.com there are links to many shops there... I would personally reccomend Tong Aik, but there are other decent shops too. Sadly can't tell you which are better...No shop is perfect... but as an experienced biker I'm sure you'll soon figure out which one works for you...

A standard PX150 or PX200 (even with disc brake) can cost around $1500... age doesn't seem to affect price... only body condition... go figure... Someone I know just picked up an FS Plate PX200Disc for $1500... good deal.. Another guy got an FR model disc brake vespa for $600!!! Take your time and search around...

Would advise against buying anything expensive as your first Vespa, buy a cheap one first while you figure the scene out..

Best of luck... :)

it depands on ur budget and what u prefer. i had mine done in a car paint shop which required u to dismantled ur bike, which is quite a hassle for some. but i think its totally worth it if u love your bike much.

T.A if im not wrong is a middle man 4 spray paint shop.correct me if im wrong cos ive not heard of them havin their own space 4 sprayin...but i suggest ppl who wanna get paint job,do it at a place where u can directly speak to e guy who'll be doin it,this way he can have much better understandin of e colour u want...cos most bike doesnt come out e same expectaion to its owner...

i did mine at ah joo 6yrs ago...but i mixed my own paint n just give em e whole can...well it depends on what u want...cheap n quick...or detail/complicated but a lil costly...better to ask ard or go to these shops n survey if u want e paintjob to last long...
