Have you got the socket yet? If not I can pass you a set. I got the wrong one. This one is for car, if I use it I'll have to change the plugs of all my other gadgets.

thks for the offer. I had a discussion with MW Meiji about installing this kind of thing, he advise me S4's electric generator is very small compare to those bigger bikes. The voltage & current also not stable & could harm the electronic gadgets that i plugged into it. So i decided not to install this kind of thing.

Thks anyway.

my younger brother in hospital after bike accident. He is OK except for a broken collar bone, broken rib & cut on his head & legs.

Now i am wondering if my RS Taichi armoured mesh jacket is really adequate, coz it doesn't hv rib armour or collar bone armour. I 'm thinking of buying & wearing this everyday when i ride, but it sure will gets lot of stares. Not to mention it will be hard to pack into my 48" rear box.

Before I installed the plug I also had the kind of resevations you had too. But after talking to lots of people who had done that overseas. They had no problem with the generator thing.

Presently I had hardwired my GPS60 power supply straight into my battery and test run it for a while with no major problem. I even left it on for the whole day on the bike even with the bike off. As there's a fuse connected it will not affect your gadgets even there's a surge on the power. I had to come up with this solution cos I need to hook up my other GPS. As it's very troublesome to connect and disconnect the cables from the battery.

I did power up my 60csx from ignition key, in between, I installed a 1 amp fuse + voltage regulator 78L09, this regulator will limit the voltage to 9V & maximun current to 100mA, this is to prevent serious damage to the GPSr if any voltage surge on the bike system.

It is near West Coast Park. :cheeky: You can go to http://www.map.gov.sg/StreetMap/ and put 126844 under Postal Code to search for the location.
