i got a few problems with my kr 150.

-when start engine rpm will be at 3 or 4 before going back to 1.5 after a few mins

-when moving off at gear one or two, i cant drag above 5 rpm , it will be stuck there no matter how far i pull the throttle.

-when i am on the road at top gear, my bike cant go above 90km/h as my rpm will stuck at 7..and bike will be a bit jerky if i force it above 7rpm..

- and i feel like its got no power..

 

these are the few problems i noticed

need help and advice.thnx.

yah.. off ure choke

its a leaver at the carburator on the left side.. push it up to off it

i think is has got to do something with his valve

bro send to jb mech bapok lane, there got few mechs that can do krr imean really good. or perhaps ah sui at first motor.

bro can recommend a few shop? and mech there? maybe ask my frenz do their KR there...

think one thing is your settings ..

another thing is something is faulty or dirty not letting u open ur valve properly. ask the mechs there and explain ur situation ..

if u go to a good shop .. they wud know wad to do

ur bike juz needs some servicing

so the problem maybe either valve or like 299 said, air filter..can you recommend me a good shop..how much would you think it would cost..

valve jam liaoz..too much carbon ..go do a full service wash valve ..and check ur settings .... b4 u do anything, confirm your bike will have choke feeling at open valve rpm

bro jus tell them the problem. they will troubleshoot for u... how long did u last service ur bike??

 

sadly it was last month.....it appears to have so many problems right after servicing.....i spent near 200 ? thats why i need a good shop who wont dupe a nooob like me..

I also riding kr150. Had this problem after i dragged my bike. Cannot above some rpm, bike feel like no power. First thing i suspected was the valve but have no clue how to verify.

 

I rode slowly to Motoworld. He disassembled the fairing and reved my bike. He pointed the valve to me showing it wasnt closing. After a few more revs, magically it wentback to normal. i could see the valve open and close. seems like i was due for servicing.

 

The best thing was. No charge!! even after he took the fairing apart. no charge!! love the place.

how do you know 'choke feeling' ...isit by seeing rpm too high ?

may i know at what rpm do you see the valve opening. ?
