Hey Peolpe! I'm a complete NOOB! I own a 2008 CB400 Super Four Revo non-ABS which I'm not far off of re-dressing as a Cafe Racer, however being that it's EFI, I was curious if there are modders/retailers that make higher capacity CPUs & equivalent Injectors/EFIs. Also I'm curious if the the CPU changes the Timing to suit or whether that is something I need to do manually? Detailed question, I know! But would love to hear your thoughts & input.

Not an easy engine to modify and will get VERY expensive, remember there is no substitute for cubic capacity.

Yes the CPU handles the engine timing etc. If a reset is performed by momentarily linking 2 pins on the DLC (Data link connector) then the CPU re-learns the settings for throttle, idling, fueling etc. as such it is self teaching.

There is no need to do a valve clearance or a top overhaul unless there is any weird sound or ticking sound coming from the block.

 

hmm. sometime theres ticking sometimes there isnt. ?

Revo slip-on is just slip onto the header only and secured with a clamp.

 

As for the stock pipe? cause i saw like cutting edge when my owner pass me the stock pipe

hi guys. how much km can the stock brake pads last for our bikes? especially the rear one. went to change EO and the mechanic said my rear brake pad going to finish. i am abit noob in this. thanks.

Should get it changed as soon as possible to avoid scratching your disc. =D

guys can check with fellow revo riders. when u start ur bike n the auto choke kicks in. it rise to rpm 2 then drop to 1.5. do we need to give it a light blow to totally "un-choke"? cos althought drop to 1.5 still a little little like "choke on" feel.

and also. when i cold start. the wont straight jump to rpm2. it will start off at 1.5 n then after maybe few secs then jump to rpm2 then drop to 1.5. issit normal? noob here :o

shouldn't be a problem. as long as the rpm stays above 1 rpm. else its rather ok... i think so. haha

Its normal. Either when u start it goes up rpm 2 n down to 1.5 or frm 1.5 to 2 then down again its normal. Aft it has down to 1.5 u can give it a little blow. Its optional

Its normal. Either when u start it goes up rpm 2 n down to 1.5 or frm 1.5 to 2 then down again its normal. Aft it has down to 1.5 u can give it a little blow. Its optional

Hi s4 riders! Do anyone know why my time and milage will always reset whenever i ON and OFF the bike? Currently riding vtec 1. Appreciate the help ((:

 

The instruments should have a permanently live feed from the battery, sounds like it is missing. Is the battery OK?, has someone tampered with the bikes wiring? Was the bike OK till recently? If so what have you changed?
