hi there .. wanted to get a revo .. but i am still schooling ( last sem to go) after that need to go NS liao .. so is it worth to get the revo now or after my NS ? or should i get a 2nd hand one through out my sch time and NS time 1st ? thanks ..

I'was quoted about 12K OTR price from BP at the show. But at the end it's not the OTR price.

- Added S$600 for loan agreement, end up interest close to 3.5% in calculation.

- Added S$400++ to insurance for age below 32yrs old

- Added S$150++ to insurance (AXA) for holding 2A license not more than 1yr.

- COE is still unknown based on 22 Aug for additional top-up.

 

Total cost will only be known after taking my bike this coming Saturday!!

post ur OTR price here afther u got the bike ok? and probably how much u pay upfront?

 

i thinking of getting 1 next year.. prob an ABS one.. dunno which shop should i go.. i personally prefer a good customer service with guarantee.. dun mind paying abit $$.. but not too much more..

ive own the revo for a mth now..n ive spent this whole mth reading all the pages of this revo post..ive just completed reading everything.. fuhh.. quite long sak trying to read n learn n catch up..ok..at least now i know im not back dated on most of the info...hmm..ive got a question thou..i bought my revo at ASP at Ser by AH XIANG..the machine price is 13200..6 yrs installment.. mthly of 202..down payment of 2k..so in total im paying 16544..n i think its non ABS...so do u guys think it was too ex..? i read this revo post after i got my revo..now i feel abit cheated on the price..my friend told me that i can get a frazer6 for the amount tat im paying... what do u guys think..issit too much..? without ABS..

I suppose you are paying 5% interest annually right??

so 6 yrs times 5% is equal to 30%.

You are not cheated, instead you should have consider carefully before you make your purchase.

I'm paying 3 years installment but monthly will be around $300.

If you buy a Fazer then you pay 6 years installment will be around 20K already.

Next time try not to stretch your installment for too long if you can afford it.

Try downpay more also.

Oh you have to know your bike installment break even point also.

For your case i think you should not sell your bike for the first 3yrs?? jus guessing.

So no worrys Bro jus enjoy your ride.

your in poly rite?? me too! last sem nxt yr go NS. but i bought a revo. getting in 2 days!!!

 

I figured out that since a busa is too ex to maintain when im schooling, a 400cc is more than enough for transport and occasional touring. so i get a 400cc and keep it until i get job after uni lor. so revo quite worth it. get a 2nd hand one later the previous owner wack the bike then u buy alr gotta spend just as much on repair. might as well get new bike.

any ASP is gd la.. hahaha.. i went to changi asp and feel the service there is excellent. so i would recommend that place. also, the guy frm asp told me no needa get abs since its a small bike. i also wanted to get abs. then another experienced rider told me, if a bike really should have abs they will fit it as factory option one. no need leave xtra option.

im paying 20% as theyre charging me intrest for only the 1st 4 yrs.. last 2 yrs no intrest..i took the 6 yrs inst is bcos im waiting for my accicent insurance claim..so once i got the claim,im thinking of paying 3yrs inst.. so left with 3 yrs mah..mthly 202 ok mah..but all im asking is tat..is a revo without ABS costing 16k too ex..i tot without ASB is 11-12k machine price.. mine is 13200 machine price...plus my endcan dented sak when i took it out.. the gd thing is tat ASP told me about the dent a couple of daes b4 i took the bike..they told me tat when the new stock of revos arrive,theyll give me a call n i just have to one to one exchange with a new one..so cudos to them for being truthful about the dent..

im just a kid and i stopped teaching tuition cause i gt too many things on. so nw my mum sponsoring the new revo.

im intending to put HB 40l, horn, steelmate alarm, head cowling belly pan.

 

thats all for nw? anyone knows bout the head cowling thing? where to get nice one ar? i wanted a boldor but dun have.. so i want some windshield thingy to block me when i ride.

 

also, wat are your cruising speed? i rode my friend's gsr, 6-7k rpm handle bar alr vibrate like ****.. our revo wont rite?
