yes.. I heard about that also... Maybe they withdraw that policy, since Xue Ling took AXA and not 21 yet... Dunno la.. maybe they see bike model also?

Who cares whether is it skill or not when ur arse is save...

 

Ok. Not wanting to sound like a pro but afaik, you want to make full use of your tyres' traction when emergency braking. Skidding is the last thing you want to happen, which is caused by slamming the brakes.

With ABS, slamming the brakes will cause the tyres to lock but the ABS senses it and thus unlocks it, locks it, unlocks it, intermittently. That's why it's called Anti-Lock Braking System.

It's a normal reaction to jam on the brakes in emergency, that's why the ABS is there to counteract it.

I'm not sure how well it would work on a bikes but I have heard life saving stories on bigger bikes with ABS.

 

But how can u skid ur front tyre to allow the maximum braking effect?

If u squeeze ur lever to max & ABS activated without locking the wheel.. U r using the max effect of the brakes without cause a locking? so that is the maximum effect u can get.. isn't it?

That's why I always believe in LUCK! :cheeky:

That time i went heng motor...they told me AXA now third party must be 22 and above...is tat true?

not very sure though. i saw the insurance listing for AXA while the staff was checking. the under 21 category was stated, that was how i was quoted.

AXA nvr accept my insurance cuz i under 20. in the end took back NTUC.

$553. so bloody expensive. minimum age for AXA is 20 cuz the person told me if i wan to continue with AXA, den i can only take the bike aft my birthday. :faint:

hmm i 22 just got license last week NTUC quote me $570 TP for a 12yrs old scram. is it normal?

looking at the price that NTUC is quoting now, i think is very normal. since u just got ur license, ur riding experience is already against u. maybe u should have gotten AXA instead. should be cheaper bah.

Ask you guys... If i have two separate different insurance, i.e. Car Insurance by NTUC and my bike insurance by AXA... Only one of them get to have NCD or i can still get for both?
