Well dont go into the habit of braking and turning.. Its not good.. even racers dont do that. They brake before a corner then make the corner..

2b failures...

Fell once on a bike,

Dropped bike twice, in 1.01 and SP.

haha true evoxiaoboy. so what is the best way to handle turning at bbdc in order to stop wobbling and not going too fast?

That would be to decrease to a desirable speed beforehand and just maintain throttle?

Is it still okay to just tap your rear brake like what you usually do for s/crank course?

u mean for which one to tap the rear brake?

Pardon my noobness, i was taught to tap on rear brakes while executing the s-course and the crank-course. Is it wrong since braking while turning is similar to the above mentioned courses?

does not mean safety precausion = more safety

If you think more precasion = more safety

IMO its the same as the older pple saying

car is metal cover pple

bike is pple cover motor

I think I am old people cos i tok "older pple saying" too

Well dont go into the habit of braking and turning.. Its not good.. even racers dont do that. They brake before a corner then make the corner..

I used to using my front brake while taking slight corners... jialat...

Pardon my noobness, i was taught to tap on rear brakes while executing the s-course and the crank-course. Is it wrong since braking while turning is similar to the above mentioned courses?

Dun tap rear brakes while turning, more prone to skids.. especially on wet...

& don't u think it affect ur corner...

That's why I always believe in LUCK! :cheeky:

during s n crank-course can use rear brake. dun worry bout it. i step on my rear brake n turn throughout the whole s-course. and tap for my crank-course during TP. never get any deduct points. :thumb:

 ever heard of holding your rear into the corner dude?

not true, unless it locks. Your rear is to slow down the rear which is being powered by your engine(to sprocket to wheel etc) for motion.

which corners are you guys wobbling at? I didn't say must step rear brake all the way lei.. You slow down before turn and maintain trottle, if still too fast, just tap a bit to slow down, dun tap and step on it la.. For S course you must use rear brake else you go fast2 go up kerb and to the opposing direction, that one confirm fail liao + dangerous...

When stopping/moving off wobble that one, I will say when stopping you use too much front brake is it? Moving off must be biting point and revving... Must know the ratio well then won't wobble already.. And of course, your confidence level must upz a bit.. Coz once you not confident, you'll wobble a lot...

Just 2 cents. Do correct me if I'm wrong...

hmm.. my wobble is when turning out of S and after turning out of S (the left turn to the crank stopping line). coz speed cannot go too fast, so i close throttle juz b4 coming out of S (dunno correct method anot) and after turning out of S, i open throttle again, but the engine will start to make some noise. haa... too slow? i think my method might be wrong. bro/sis, any advice?

and i agree that confidence play a big part. but during TP test, very gan jiong one. tried to think of it as another prac, but once see TP, and TP stare at me, i stress liao.

Hmm... coming out of S course, I dunno how to describe in words but I'll try.. Actually this I didnt know or master until before my TP... Hmmm.. At S course, mid way of the 2nd loop right, approaching the end you tap rear brake to slow down (and close trottle a bit only dun close fully unless you intend to stop) check for car turning and get ready to stop.. if no car, you see straight ahead to negotiate your turn, trottle gradually and then check blind spot and turn for your crank course, kick down to 1st gear, stop...

At Crank course you enter fast, turn trottle more, mid way brake whilst maintaining trottle (close a bit if u find it too fast) and after check traffic clear, look at the traffic light and turn out...

Avoid opening and closing trottle in S course and crank course, will really wobble even more.. Learn to use your rear brakes in these two courses... and dun lock your elbows, relax and go..

IMO Actually alot of thing dont have "Correct" or "wrong" Method,

If your wobbling is due to throttle controlling,

Maybe you can try Cluthing in then let it glide when exiting the S ?

Hmm.. mayb my rear brake too powderful... haha..

Cos I know if some ppl like me like to lower gear through corners like filter lane... The tendency of experiencing a lock up while u clutch in to lower gear is high.. so ya.. as free wheeling, rear wheel easier to lock up while using rear brake

That's why I always believe in LUCK! :cheeky:

thanks for the tips. i do use my rear brake, prob shud be with my throttle control. i can maintain them during the courses, but its when i am coming out that instant then i will start to play around with the throttle. my wobbling is due to my lousy control of the throttle.

Then practice more on your throttle control during your SP, concentrate on your exit at the courses during RC and have fun and enjoy the ride during RR...

Just remember to breathe during TP... All will be fine once you know you can do it, and when time is right for you to pass.. The day will come eventually.. What matters is your perseverance.
