hey peeps, cleared my 8.01 and not pending for my TP.

 

Do you reckon it is better to take SP and RR or RC and RR instead?

 

Cause SP cheaper la

hmm..sp better in building more confidence and riding skill?

rc and rr are also not bad tho, cuz got instructor to point out errors..

just got a qn on behalf of my fren.. if pdl expire, how can i renew? another qn, for 8.01 is there any time limit like 5.02? cos my fren tp is like 2 months away.. quite longg de.

For class 3 PDL, can renew at SingPost, but I think 2B have to renew at the TP counter.. not very sure on this.. can anyone clarify?

 

and for 8.01, you just have to clear it, together with all your theory lessons and theory tests 1 week before the date of your TP.

If you do not clear it by that time, the system will auto-cancel your test date.. lol

And all go @ 1 shot or will be released in batches?

total around 90+ plus.. but release around 10 people at certain time interval... good luck!

for 2b circuit BBDC, the bend near signboard 14 , how to do lane change if got cars blocking at the bend there? Some instructors tell me to slow down and wait behind the cars and some tell me to overtake them. Some tell me never change lane at the bend and go one more round. I am so confused. What is the right way?

I am referring to part of the test route where it is the lane change near to the BBDC bus pick up point.

issit after the bend u must lane change to turn right? if yes, must look far ahead and lane change before the bend. tats what instructors told me last time.

Yes, i am referring to that one. I know must look far ahead but if got car stop or moving very slowly at the bend there how?

 

Should i :

 

1) Overtake and do my lane change.

2) Stop behind it ( But got instructors say cannot change lane at the bend )

3) Go one more rd come back again

2) Immediate failure/heavy demerit pts for change lane at bend

If only 1 car stopped or moving slowly at the bend, i should overtake it right? And if got cars after the bend, then i should stop behind them right?

If it is me, i will see the speed, and where i am.

 

If the car super slow and i can overtake and change lane with enuff clearance, den i will pick up speed and faster do.
