BBDC - Anyone Taking 2B There?

I wanted my 2b ASAP, almost like craving it. I wanted it so much becoz then i can ride to CBD for work everyday. I dun want to squeeze with people in MRT anymore and taking abt 2 hrs to communte everyday.

I had passed my 5.02 ( 3rd try ) and gotten my PDL, going for lesson 6,7 and 8 this week if possible. The current test date is 16th (Wed) next month and the next would be 1 week later due the the public holiday on the 21th(Mon).

If i am willing to go BBDC for the rest of Aug 3-4 times a week, i should be able to clear final evaluation before end of Aug right? ( My reservist is during the first 2 weeks of Sep so i wanted to clear all requirement else my test date would be cancelled ) That would leave me enough time during the weekends of my reservist period to do SP, CR and RR. So my question is should i wait to book on 23rd Sep or book 16th right away? I understand you may say it doesnt matter since i had waited for so long already but i really had enough of MRT when i can smell the sweat and hear the breath of the person next to me. I wanted also to make sure to pass on my 1st TP so that is why i am thinking if i should book on the 23rd would be better to allow myself more practice.

Well, lesson 6 and 7 can be cleared easily if you obey the instructors and pay attention on the road. show that you are able to handle the stress and know what you need to do on the road.

 

lesson 8 is a pre tp test scenario. standard might be higher than tp itself but to clear it by end of aug should not be a problem since it's only the 10th today and you are willing to go 3-4 times a week.

 

more than enough time if you ask me... but of cos it will depend on individual learning curve and abilities. so dont quote me on this.

 

as for which date to book for your tp... since you mentioned the first two week of sept you will be having reservist. then that leave you sat, sun, mon and tue for revision and warm up (since you wont get to ride for that two weeks). question you need to ask yourself here is, do you think that 4 days are enough for you to regain your confidence or do you need more time?

 

it's never good to rush because you might end up waiting an extra month and another $100 to retake the tp if things dont go your way.

 

anyway, what holiday are we having on the 21st sept?

Hari Raya which falls on the 20th but since it's on a Sunday then the following Monday is a holiday; another long weekend

20th Sep is Hari Raya Puasa. It is a Sunday so 21st is Public Holiday like what is today for National Day is on Sunday.

Long paragraph, lazy to read after few sentences. Just got ASAP for all lessons available and you'll have your licence before you know it.

 

Ps: provided you are good enough to pass most lessons on 1st attempt

first try: 30 points

second try: 36 points

 

both got the same instructor. not a single person passed his class.

 

then today third try: 8 points

 

but the instructor give me IF for e brake. the bottom of my wheel behind the red line but the front of the wheel just nice at the line

Try again then. Maybe go for revisions if you wanna brush up on the particular area that you are weak in.

Think about failing 5.02 or TP 3x, which would you want?

so where do i report on that day?

the practical room and?

 

because i don't wanna get nervous on the day itself. hehe.

Just report to the practical waiting room, look for your number on the notice board next to the vending machine, go in collect your plastic holder for your IC & PDL and also your number tag.

 

After which, just follow the instructor's iinstructions and you will be fine

If in doubt, just ask everyone else there. On TP day, everyone is friendly.. hahaha

haha! i think the most nervewracking part is waiting in the mini circuit to get ur bike and waiting for the tp to announce the results..

they will name those who didnt pass..so cross ur fingers and hope ur number isnt called out lol

Haha.. I like your honesty. Anyway i just try to clear 8.01 ASAP. If not, try to ask CSM if can give me time off to take 8.01 during my reservist. Worse come to the worse waste money and time to book for another TP lor.
