Hi WaveRiders,

 

Just now my wave engine easily stalled and very hard to start. Worst, black smoke come out from the pipe. Sunday bike shop closed. Don't know what to do...

Anyone know the reason why?

Just got into an self skid accident.

I was making a turn then skid over soil (BROWN SOIL; the type for plants)

The turn was a blind turn cant see the road ahead.

Messed up my right knee very badly.

Will post pics my injures once i change the bandages...

U mean on saturday u working?? Sunday also got bike shop open.. If u need address just PM me.. its on the west side... Did u accidentally pump diesel? Just askin..

I dont think there are any more websites like the ones i posted because Cubs are not sold worldwide, only sold in Asia.

And Cubs are mostly made in thailand thus even if have websites, all text are in thai or the website is not as advanced.

hahaha... I noe which bike shop open on sundays but its too far 4 me to go. i'm staying in tampines.

When i went to a bike shop on Monday, the mech asked me if i accidentally pump diesel. I told him NO! He does'nt believed me. He pump out the fuel from the tank to check. And guess what? Its patrol.

Actually i also dont noe wats the prob. He just change a fuel hose and thats it..

Maybe fuel hose is dirty... Water got in perhaps? BUT what causes the black smoke?

Last week it was a HOT HOT day everyday.... Forgetfull me forgot to change EO.. while on PIE.. bike suddenly dying when close throttle.. And the pipe doesnt output that much sound... Lucky Steven road was near... Rode to Esso... Check my EO.. Dried up! Bought the 20/50 and pour.. And the bike came alive again

recently my bike start to give problem..

 

if i full throttle the bike no power. poor pickup..high rev yet delay in moving off. same goes to other gears if i full throttle. i must slowly turn throttle then can get top speed.

 

what i think of is clutch plates problem? my friend told me the 'booster' worn out. i dont know what he mean booster.

 

can someone enlighten me this problem.. i want go shop ask.. but im afraid kena chop. what parts must i change?..

any of u guys have any idea whether the spoke rims from X1-r can be fitted to Wave??

hi i'm riding a wave that i bought over from a fellow forum member a few months back. the pipe has been mod, i suppose the silencer has been removed. now i kena go inspection, so i need to change the pipe. any idea how much a stock wave pipe would be? no need to be new also can..thanks!

Wave S to be exact.

i would like to know whats the improvement(throttle response,etc)

like and the Fuel consumption especially?

hi all wave rider , i recently notice there white smoke coming out of my wave exhaust , can i know is there any problem to my engine? and it only happen at night and not everyday.

Probably gasket leaking... get it checked...
