Help me!

I need some feedback from you guys

My wave R had some problems

Everytime I start my bike, it died. So, I let my bike warm up for 10 mins before going to school. When I reach my school traffic light junction, it died. Yes, I had increase my timing and it seems ok. But after a while, the timing decreases back to before.. I asked the shop and they say it's my timing chain.

And another problem is, my bike make alot of noise. The noise is not very smooth even at stationary. The shop says it's my auto bearing. All of those cost a few hundreds.

Any feedback??

PS: Shop is Global Motorsport @ Autobay, kaki bukit

Sounds like my Wave when the iridium plug's gap has widened. :p

Btw, timing chain can last a long long time but it is also mileage dependant lah~

I noticed that sometimes it is difficult to engage neutral gear while stationery. Got to accelerate abit and while moving go to N. Does this mean my clutch plates are gone? Wah liao, I changed them during april only eh!!

I thinks it's normal. mine occur at 2-3.

At traffic light down from 3 to 2, no light for all gears. throttle abit gear 2 engage, then continue to 1.

Talking about tyres, just now my rear tyre burst because a nail got lodged in. It happened at 70-80km/h and I was basically sliding left and right for at least 40m + before I managed to completely stop. I was slowly controlling the front making sure its straight and making minor adjusting to counter the fishtail if not buang already. Lucky sia.

It was so bad when I inspected the rear, it was soft enough to exposed the rim =.=

Pushed the bike like an idiot to a workshop, tot its just a $6 paste job, skali mech told me tyre cannot use already coz too damaged. Forked out $55 to change tyre, haaaaizzz. but ok lah, lose $55 nvm, dun lose life liao..

end up the "$55/pair" tyres my mech was talking about was yoshi. but idk i heard wrongly on the phone or what, now he tell me 1 is $45. asked another mech and he said yoshi not good. gonna change rear to battlax tomorrow. more ex but feels safer, psychological. haha

You must treat the gear pedal as a normal hand clutch lever.. meaning when u drop gear, you slowly ease out. Gear 1 and 2 strongest engine brake, so it helps to only drop to those gear at very low speed. Or u can juz stop at gear4 and then take ur time dropping back to 1.

Don't worry lah, give you 2-3 days riding on this bike, you will get used to it...

rotary gear we have, we can drop from gear4 to neutral in 1 kick. :cheeky:

Epic Size for Epic things... lol...

290 is too high.

I pump 225 front and 250 back

the sticker on my chain guard says so. I just follow.

Anyone face cracks on battlax?

My rear battlax have lots of stress crack inside the threads, crack can also be seen where the tire meets the rim, a few obivous crack on parts which meet the road.

Tires are 8months old (12000 km)

Front tire is filled with many holes(no punture) caused by stones/rocks and hard braking.

Now, that sounds right for tyre pressure. I follow the pressure on the chain guard.

What is the production date on the tyres? Front BT39s are usually like that because they are made up of softer compound.

I too follow the chain guard pressure.

Drivers often ask me whether i'm crazy to pump so much then i point to the chain guard lol...
