wah yours so many stickers i dun think i want la altough the price is good hehe...

 

ok i get what u mean with the silencer! ya thats y i see why the hole so small! darn...but if i unscrew the screws at the end cap i can take it out myself easily and put it back for inspection next time easily too? or do i have to do cutting or stuff that is difficult?

 

will easily get caught by LTA for it?

 

and the passed inspection cert about 5pages stapled together with my receipt have to carry around all the time or can keep at home??

 

hahaha.... else if wont get caught... i think every bike is equipped with aftermarket exhaust liao...

after the mods and overhaul...

 

my bike seems like no power as compared to last time b4 the makeover... why ah? the mech say cuz is new piston just overhual so need some time to run in... is it true????

 

and the rear brake not really biting at all! even though now my brake hoses are HEL and using EBC pads... -.-

 

mech says cuz its new so need some time to wear out oso!!!

lol and the stupid rims... i want the racingboy black silver... but the hua chin boss gimme white/silver!!!! damn it manz! altough it looks not bad lar... but i prefer black!!!! anyone got a relatively new black one or almost new black one wanna exchange? lol mind brand new!!!

 

and my cdi havent put yet... need to wait for 1 week for stock arrive... kns...

 

the new exhuast the sound almost same as the stock exhuast lei... feels like a waste of money manz... but how come i see other leo vince all so loud and nice?

 

its true that brake pads need to bed in before it becomes "effective"... however, with ur new brake hose and ebc pads u shouldnt expect any much difference from the original pads... what makes braking more effective is the brake pump/ brake caliper... pads in ur case dont really matter as i believe they are of similar standard, assuming that previously is the honda original 1...

 

u just overhual ur bike... change eo alreadi? if havent i advise u to change asap. after overhual, alot of metal bits.. and wave no oil filter also.. so just replace ur eo asap.. use mineral oil... i'm sure u dun want the metal bits to circulate round ur engine for few hundred km...

 

exhaust, forget it la leave it... unless u got extra 700bucks to spare to lta... if i get caught i'll also come here and whine. hahahaha!!!

Your mechanic is BS-ing you. Even during run-in the bike won't feel less power. At low revs, it should feel the same.

 

Maybe your stock exhaust operate before?

 

Rear disc conversion, u heard us but u never listen? Even when the pads and disc is seasoned, it will still be the same.

 

If i were u, i will ask them to gimme silver black rims bcoz tats wat u wanted in the 1st place. Tyres got give u the correct brand anot?

Still that favourite and classic phrase 4 u - Mod, dont scare. Scare, dont mod.

 

U dont carry the cert in your bike = no cert for the LV.

oh ok then i'll carry the cert around with me then... thanks for the advice... well the rear disc brake no regrets putting it la.. hmmm well i guess im gonna change my front caliper soon too...

 

the engine oil changed to motul v300 already... will change again after 500km of run in..

 

yeap the tyres are correct brand haha.. well too bad the rims are wrong but nvm la im not too fussy kind hehe no choice already now..

i just realised he spent 1,815 bucks on his wave... seriously.. if i'm him, i'll sell e wave and get a s4 version S.... maybe can get a vtec1.... mod here mod there mod everywhere... in the end no difference at all. 3 letters, 1 word, 1 meaning. sad. take it as a learnign exp... i also got chopped be4... or at least i feel la...

do some reading, pt to note, when they run in, they change oil filter and eo, our bike no oil filter. there are many ways to run in. so to each his own.

 

however, u wanna prolong ur changing is up to u... nobody would put a top end fully syn after overhual.... coz the frequency of changing oil after overhual is high. yup.

Sorrie4u, next time when the lao jiaos advise u something, pls put their words into consideration. Like the rear disc brake issue. I myself have been riding for 4 years, but still considered myself noob to wave compared to some riders here. I understand ur worries about drum brakes; in fact, I too wanted to do the rear disc conversion, but many advised against it so I just changed my brake shoes, cleared the dirt instead and voila.. drums working good. Don't spend so much $ only to get the same result... ppl wun be sorrie4u, more like angry4u..

Use mineral oil when running in.. in doubt, search for "running in" and read all the threads that pop up

 

Hi, can u guys share with me what's the diffs between the Honda wave s and r .. Any diffs on them...

 

wave s digital fuel meter, r analogue meter. Head fairing different, wave r has "sharper" looking headlights. wave r easier to find "local" coverset then s, becoz most msias are riding wave r. also, if ur wave s digital meter is at 99,999 cannot reset must buy new meter. Other then that, the rest are the same.

huh.. dio stomped.. wah u super suai... but honestly, i find single cylinder aftermarket exhaust is really quite irritating, same for drz... i like s4 sound...

huh.. dio stomped.. wah u super suai... but honestly, i find single cylinder aftermarket exhaust is really quite irritating, same for drz... i like s4 sound...

 

I love 1, 6 cylinders motorcycles the most.

IMO

single = sound raw and terrifying (thunderous one banger).

4 = sound smooth and powerful.

6 = only gods should make sounds like this.

I will buy a old RXZ @ $900, mod it kao kao (maybe $300 can kao tim liao), can sprint faster than any 2B bikes.

only before 11pm and after 8am.... i really dont like bikes throttling like mad at night... i rather a duc go past at 3k rpm than a drz try to wheelie like mad during those odd hours...

 

so at 3pm.. do whateva u want, i'll definately turn my head! hahahaha! but dun crash!

lol yea i know i know guys... i really appreciate the advices u given but i just like to try new things la... well yea maybe some wont agree on me doing such exp or useless stuff but to me its alright... not cuz im rich la... cuz i feel good doing these.. and i dun intend to get a 2a lisc anyway... lolz im more into cars actually... :)

 

well after some whacking today i find the bike can run at higher speed... but the brakes front and rear still not biting much... hmm will go check it out this sat when i get my racing CDI in...

 

dun flame me lar bros... i regard u guys as gurus seriously... but i bought this wave to mod and play...and oso for a cheap transport so hope u guys dun flame me... jus wanna share :)

last time my wave have big bore. but without racing cdi.
