with not much protection for the connection heads... which i think if ride in the rain will cause water to come in contact with the batt and the connectors... which will rust eventually and cause some probs...

OK, firstly its been raining cats & dogs these days and not once have my u-box been wet. So unless you're riding thru a flash flood or you decide to go swimming with ur wave, should be ok. Anyway, I can think of a few solution to protect the connector heads. Like fabricating metal brackets to hold a piece of plastic over the battery for example? Or easier just cut a piece of rubber/non conductive plastic over it..

and wow if the fuel meter is quite accurate then i might just do it too! seems really shiok to have 450km per pump! lolz!

No comment about the fuel meter yet. Will do a report about this after I am done with a full tank. Altho it be a bit harder seeing my odometer is stuck :sian:

sigh will think of a way to solve the 2days without bike issue...

anyone know where can rent bike for 2 days? legally?

You can go on a short hols like me. Or just take public lah. Are you doing despatch work? 2 days w/o bike isn't really that long. Take public transport once in a while. Seriously, sometimes it's just so nice to sit back in a bus and watch the scenery (and girls)..

lol bro blahh i get wad u mean la... but i really really hate taking bus... u noe when last time i wanna sell my bike... i bought my car 1st... got the car then deliver my bike to bike shop... then when i sell my car...i bought my bike 1st then ask the agent to collect my car from my house lolz... now when i sold my aprilia... same thing... i trade in to bike shop and get my bike the same day i bring in...

sigh... anyone know where got rental service for bikes? i really like to rent 1 to go and do the tank!!!!

bro go hua chin change your speedo la... 110 only... include install... u buy from spare part shop cost 98 without install.. so uite worth la i think!

With silencer not loud leh... HAHAHa:angel:

I just replaced my silencer with the racing kit, sounds better.

But can the TP notice it just by hearing it's sound?

Cos it looks like a silencer

Mod don't scare, scare don't mod.

so it means that it is still accurate?! yeah! as i tot so... cuz the fuel tank in the pic looks like abit squarish kind which i think they extend out to the front towards the U-box area.. and under too... tat's why the batt is at the front of the u-box position now and it is so high up! with not much protection for the connection heads... which i think if ride in the rain will cause water to come in contact with the batt and the connectors... which will rust eventually and cause some probs...

wonder if anyway to cover up the batt nicely so it will be awy from harm..

Your front cannot be 90/80 lah. 90/80 mostly (for cubs) use for the back rim leh. Your "rubbing" tyre must be 90/80 in the rear.

80/90 is your front tyre.

oic!! PSPS got it wrong... oh thats y la... i using 90/80 rear thats y rubbing...

if i change to 80/90 front and rear both same ... is it ok? cuz normally on all bikes it is front slightly smaller than rear... what if both the same size? will affect handling and stability??? safety?

Previously on my Sparkz110, I was using 80/90 front n back - no problem in terms of handling. U might want to wait for Squarebox or any other guys here to advise you on the 90/80 rear tyre rubbing issue.

ok bros.. I have just sold off my beloved super 4. Have served me well for 3 years, but I think it's time to let her go w/ a new owner.

Well the thing is, I just received an irresistible offer for a x1r from a friend.. just one to one exchange w/ my wave and COI. I calculated everything, his bike is around $300 cheaper then on the market price. Quite worth it lah. And I think some of you here remember I do fancy the spark/x1r's engine..

So quite soon, I won't be a wave rider anymore.. but I will still stick around lah, coz I feel I got to know some cool people here.. cheers!

erm u guys can checkout the website and try to checkout see see lo... it will state clearly there on the payment gateway... my total shipping cost i forgot... its about 22USD i think so... for all those items which are quite heavy.. but if we can consolidate and order tgt the shipping cost can be shared n therefore cheaper... they always do that in aprilia forum :)

im thinking of ordering the trusty's upsidedown front fork for our bikes... cost 98USD without shipping... anyone wanna join???

upsidedown forks are really good for providing improved handling and safety while on bumpy roads or sometimes portholes/stones on road... aprilia bikes are all using inverted fork just like this... which there is one time which saved my life haha!

the boss at that shop can make perfect fitting brackets for us too so that we can fit on our brakes caliper easily..
