I am going to JB to service my wave this weekend...it's cheap there and I am going to change my chain and sprocket there. Anyone have done it in JB before? recommend some nice place to do the full servicing? Thanks.

Depends on where you go, work there could be crappy too. I am not the JB-going type. :p

So long, it is recommended by friends and with trusted mechanics there - SGP or JB is the same. Some SGP workshops also give crappy work if the mechanics are lousy.

Luckily my wife doesn't lean on the box but i dont kup corner with pillion anyway. Tried once with a pillion on my old GSXR4, sweeping a S-corner, pillion shake a bit nia, I buang liao.

mine is when i stop at a junction with 1 leg down to support the bike, then my pillion raised his hand to point to a building commenting on something, I immediately lost balance and had to put my other leg down to regain my balance.no kidding...

In dat situation, it b the same even if u change bike. Nothing to do with the weight of the bike or the box or anything else. Try growing some muscles ya

Err....420 and 480 is up to my choice, so 480 is meant for better pick up due to have more teeth? Then I should stick to 420 then...I like stock configuration:cheeky:

No such thing as 428 gives u better pick up.

I think u are confused.

420 and 428 are the chain types.

Teeth are on the sprockets which will affect ur pick up or top end.

So try to understand the diff and not confuse urself.

Being humble and learn more may be good.

The best is to learn the right things and not the wrong things.

Everyone can learn new things.

Able to diff right from wrong is what seperates the men from the boys !

I don't mind being the boy. What separates the men from the boys is - age.

wat i am trying to say is that a slightest movement from my pillion due to his weight is able to create a big difference on the weight distribution making me lose my balance...thats why i need a more stable bike, a bike which have more weight on the front...wave front is originally light enough, plus the weight of my pillion, it seems that my front may lift off from the ground anytime...got to control my trottle especially when moving off...

i do agree that his weight makes quite a significant diff on ur bike..... however, u make it sounds as if u're riding a wave with a superbike engine....

Life is not the amount of breath u take, but the moments that take ur breath away.

It is not how hard you fall, its how fast you get up.
