Hello to all wave riders out there,

I'm thinking of buying a second hand wave after the budget money comes in. I heard there's 3 types of wave, S,R,I.

What's your opinion in the 3 models? I'm looking for a bike for transport. My friend recommended R cause the spare parts are easily available at JB.

What's the average fuel consumption u get per litre?

Past: RXZ, KR, R1 07

Present : Wave S

hi, just brought my wave X.. need some advise from all the senior .... anyone change their horn to a louder one? where u guys mount it?

changing fast throttle or racing CDI will it help to increase the performance?

thanx

From what I know, wave I uses fuel injection system(instead of carburetor) and wave S/R uses carburetor. I should getting it after the govt gives me money in May so if you have any friends selling, do pm me.

@SoLoWinG - fast throttle don't help increase a bike's peformance. It just gives u a feeling of better acceleration.

In my opinion best things riding wave are

1. Low f/c 3litter for 120km

2. Cheap insurance

3. E/O plus spark plug can use cheap one - every month change also no feeling

4. Spare part easily find and cheap

5. Park anywhere also no body want to steal

6. Top speed around 100km/h while Singapore expressway speed limit only 90km/h.

7. Easily squeeze during traffic jam.

8. Light and easy to handle. Suitable for young or old, tall or short people.

9. Passenger seat is comfortable, they won't slide to the front during braking.

10. Most important is cheap and everyone is afford to own one..

I love my wave..

not sure about clutch system.. but wave is best without clutch, SO RELAX!! :) my left hand i use just to stable the bike.. haha

Racing CDI, IMO should be no unless you go track.. stock CDI helps to keep our bike from overrevving and keep it from frying the electricals..

Unless you've got loads to spend.. :) but racing CDI do improve performance however must MUST be accompanied by other upgrades (big bore, carb, tuning)
