If I were to buy a 2nd hand wave from a seller, what is the necessary things to check in order not for him to scam me?

Ther are plenty of things to chk.. Try to get someone who knoes more abt wave to follow u.. It would be better..

Don ever pour the 2t into the petrol of 4 stroke bike. It not only produce white smoke and catch tp attention. It's also harm to ur piston, piston ring and valve. Dono what to do with ur 2t just sell it 1 or 2 dollar at garage sales, I think sure have people wan to buy.

4 stroke bikes doesnt need any premixing of 2T , Premixing is mostly done on 2 stroke bike eg.Kips,SP,TZM,RXZ,125Z etc etc and that is why you see white smoke coming out of their bike... If you ever see white smoke coming out from your wave, it is either cold start after a heavy rain or cold night or it might be your piston/piston ring problem due to EO leaking into the combustion chamber

Changing my head light bulb today.. Just realize that Honda wave speedometer doesn't use any cable link to front wheel to read the speed like any other bike. How it work?

Not on wheel meh ? So far i knoe 2b bikes mostly using wheel sensor .. 2a and 2 using speedo sensor which is placed near the engine area ..

my wave-i got problem it seems.. when idle it suddenly dies off.. is it due to battery going to weak?.. going to bring the bike to shop tmw for diagnosis, but like to have fellow riders view.. also seems like got sound coming from the engine, haizz.. if overhaul sure cost $400+++..

 

Can set the idling. theres a knob near to the FI assy that you can turn to adjust the idling. for the sound coming from the engine best to go JB to check. SG shops will be more than happy to say that you need to overhaul completely.

DID or RK o-ring chain is good enough. No need to used until x-ring for wave. For sprocket, not so sure. If class 2 or 2a bike then will be vortex or AFAM.

just change my spockets and chain for 50 bucks....chain DID n spockets (forgot the brand) ...kana chop or not?

my insurance was 550. I sold alr. Hahaha. But I know nuts about wave. And my tank goes empty soooo fast. Is it normal? I have to pump average at 2 days and I cN only pump about 2.7 litre. I got. A wave I from the shop but the mech tells me it's going by caburetor. Shouldn't I be going at fuel injector? :/

A wave I from the shop but the mech tells me it's going by caburetor. Shouldn't I be going at fuel injector? :/

 

look at your engine is the a Carb present, if not and the mech still says it's carb.. guess it's high time you changed a mech..

Regarding your FC, mine is 45-48km/Litre so it's about 170km/full tank(3.7Litres).. do calculate yours..

Also, how much you travel?

hmmm, wave's original is 14front 34 rear.. if you downsize surely the pickup is affected.. what's your sprocket setting?

No lah definitely not using that bike shop as my repair shop. I chu bike from there mah. My full tank only 120clicka like that blinking alr. And got caburetor or not I need to go bike shop sEe right? Ownself can see anot? Idk about sprocket setting leh. I buy alr is downsized. Lol. And my brakes seriously can kill me. Lol
