i recently bought a 125 wave r to replace my 100 wave. my 100 wave has air filter. shop told me the 125 wave r has no air filter? wanted to do full servicing and was surprised to hear that.

 

Or did the mech said no oil filter?

Yes bro. I even did it to 3 pizza hut's wave when i was still working there. Find a nice long not to thick rod, then you stuff it inside locate the silencer, then take hammer you knock knock. if im not wrong you have to knock down 2 or 3 'walls' then the sound very the nice. but be sure to do this with a friend in case the rod gets stuck inside! ahah it happen to on my the pizza hut bike. cost $5 to take out. ahah happy trying!

I am thinking of installing sideboxes for my wave, those used on cg125 type. But I think the access to the keyhole for unlocking the seat might be blocked. Anyone installed sideboxes for their wave before? Is there any model of sideboxes that won't block the keyhole for the seat?

Air filter is a need for all petrol or diesel driven vehicles, not only for carb vehicles. Meaning FI vehicles also need air filters.

 

Usually I change my air filter every 10,000km and that's what I will do in a year. ;p
