i just replaced my tensioner and stuff... went to malaysia jb ahboi... 1st few time i went i asked alot of stuff 2 becareful... and i found them pretty honest...

 

but as time goes past, i trusted them, they slowly chop me... had enuff of them and now i'm gonna switch to another shop... maybe houheng as my friend had good experience with them.... quite pissed with jb ah boi...

hey fellas..

 

i need help.

My wave suddenly slowed down in the middle of the expressway while riding. The same feeling you get when your bike runs out of petrol, problem is, my bike is full of petrol. it took me awhile of kick-starting and e-starting to get it running.

 

when its running i tried revving the throttle abit by bit, and to my surprise there was white smoke. This never happened before.

 

please advise peeps.

i realy need it.

but i highly doubt so bro, coz my bike went overhaul last 2 months or so. after that maintenance part, i realise starting my engine in the morning is damn hard. needs to really warm up before i can pull my throttle, and i nvr had to warm up before. one start is all it needs previously.

 

I dont think its carb dirty also, my friends dad say it could be my piston, he said prolly went i went for overhaul the mech nvr check my piston or suay2 he go "change" my piston to old one. And that the white smoke was from my engine oil, which sipped thru the piston ring causing the bike to feel over-flowed.

 

I feel sad man if the mech who overhauled my bike really did a "dirty" job in overhauling. But i cant rush back to that shop and just cast my assumptions on him.

 

any other possibilities bro? Btw how much does it cost to change piston and rebore my block? If possible SGP shop, i too lazy wanna cross border.

i think a full overhual would set u around 500sgd... i did my sp years back.. around that price....

not all the way riding got white smoke.

 

whenever i start my bike after it "died" off. then white smoke like fogging for mosquitoes like that. heh.

 

i already overhauled, and everytime i wanna re-overhaul, i would feel as if the shop would try its best to cheat its way out for my money.

this la that la... its always the case.

 

but honestly ya, i do think its my piston, the EO is sipping thru a gap maybe? that would be a perfect reason why my bike would have the "over-flow" feeling? maybe. just a hunch and logic.

 

i also noticed EO level would start to drop after 3 days as i would check my EO level once a week.

mine haven overhaul sia..not carb dirty den is i tink maybe i evertime chiong bout 120 - 130 km/h or drag the gear..den lyk tat liao sia..engine abit sot? always chiong exit express way..den when goin stop..engine wan die lyk tat..lolx..den i stall x.x electric start afew times den back to normal again x.x wth sia..~!@#$%^&*(

hmmmz, how much dist u travelled before u change EO after u overhual???

 

i recently did mine wave overhual, i used like 4 bottles of mineral oil so far... i made a mistake.. i changed only after 400km... the oil was full of metal rubbish.. should haf change like 20-30km... coz ours no oil filter..

 

 

and btw, i got the same hunch as u.....

& horx if i now chiong bout 100km/h for long time my engine start JERKING front & back x.x lolx if ard 80km-90km lyk tat no prob @.@

nope..is when close throttle step on brake frm 100 reduce to 30plus den no power..open throttle close throttle repeatly also nth cum out..lolx..so everytime starck in between car to press my electric start x.x:faint:

anyways one more thing/description about my problem..

i ccan hear knocks everytime after i rev my bike in the morning to warm it up.

For instance; i rev abit, then hear, *knock*, rev again, hear, *knock*.
