can u guys help me fellow steed riders. my bike is leaking, from where u would normally seat, I could smell petrol. One day before I pump petrol to the top, all the way. Wat seems to be the problem, thank you bros.

As mentioned by bro Nomad, do have a check on the tube for the Fuel Cork and also if the leaking is visible coming out from the block, then you should you should have a check on your gasket...Other than that, try to locate the exact location where you can visibly see the leakage and the strongest point of the fuel smell...Hope this help bro...Cheers...

White walls~~~~ nice.

I'm thinking of getting 15" inserts for the rear.

Interested?

Bro, inserts will be abit risky cos my rear wheels are tubeless.. Air may seep out between the rim and the inserts, and from my whitewall inserts vespa experience, the inserts also warped outwards after a while, rubbed against the engine and no more whitewalls (broke away into pieces while riding) for the rear tyre.. Your inserts may have the same problem and rub against the swingarm after a while.. Also thought about the white rubber tyre paint from one of the forummers here but his supplier not sending anymore...That's why better to get the real stuff, cannot bluff...Saw an ad that shinko also has whitewall tyres so may not need to get the expensive metzelers....

yeap, seems like its coming out from the block. thats the strongest i can see. dont seem to be the tubes i checked nothing on the ground when it was leaking. its the block. and thus, change gasket ?

how much is the good one ?

You wana DIY, can buy gasket from everfit, eversuccess, FJT, etc... Else go to 'trusted' bikeshop...

Bro, tubeless would not be advisable for inserts indeed.

I am also worried about the inserts being too close for comfort.

Would some strong adhesive help? :cheeky:

Tyre paint would be too much work and decoloring would also be a major turn-off. btw, how much does a rear metzeler actually cost?

Currently i'm using bridgestone for rear and front and they are already not cheap.....

p.s. Does anyone have a good paint shop to intro?

pissed with my shop. damn it~!

ya lor.... when I ask for the price for front and rear, it's almost 300. TMD~ car tires are cheaper than damn bike tires. :faint:

However, it's really grippy and sticky. so kinda gave me the assurance.:thumb:

true though, you get what you paid for but to pay for is another thing.! i wonder if shinko tires are any good.:thumb:

Only read good reviews for the shinko tour master. Using them myself. Niwei, think the metz rear whitewall tyre about 200+, maybe more.. :faint:

Maybe change front first cos front lasts longer than rear tyres... Also saw the Shinko whitewalls from one of the adverts at the top or side of this page... :cheeky:

Nice rear end. If u could shift the licence plate away somewhere, i think that's divine!!!

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

If only we could side mount our license plate, that would be Divine indeed.

Actually u can try to re-wire a bulb light to the side to shine on the licence plate. But then don't know the white ants got anything to say or not. :p
