CBR600 F4i/F4/F3/RR Riders

Hey guys, what brand of engine oil do you guys use and how frequently do you change it?

 

The manual's recommended oil change interval is 12,000km, which seems too long to me.

 

Just changed the engine oil. Used Maxima's Maxum 4 Syn Blend. Going to change the oil every 6,000km.

 

I used motul engine oil , but forgot which type liao , but its 10w/50 rating . N i change every 3000km .

any1 got any idea for rr5 where is the best place to mount a pair of stebel magnum 2 horns?install at the original place but think under hard braking might hit the front fender......then i see the rest of the place like no much space......headache ah ......

I felt at way too , but i juz feel more safe , cos most of the time the f4i was used to travel up north to ipoh frequently n hope the frequent change of oil will not have negative impact on the engine .

 

Anyway , the present rider of my f4i should not have problems from the engine except for other wear n tear consumable parts .

im about to purchase a F4I ... FT plate .... COI from an owner from ASP...

the amount remaining is about 158 * 45 months...

which sums to about 7.1 k....

 

OTR i think about 8k...

 

The condition is quite good, outlook is yellow.. not bad as well...

is it within market value? or am i paying alot more? is it worth it ?
