hey jeff, long time no C. ow the goin man?????

Being sometime since i go the track. last few months kept raining and now busy with work. Hopefully can go PG again. Cant wait to drop my timing. See all these videos, really make my adrenline rush!

I am actually facing some problem in the last few session. I am having a cold tear on my rear tyre. The front wear was normal. Wondering if there is anyone here who can actually help me? I am using front and rear psi of 30. Should i drop the rear psi a bit more? Sorry for all these questioning..

But hope someone can guide me?

Thanks bro :cheeky:

Its a combination of a lot of things that I manage to better my timing at every lap if not constant (but its not easy...I was pushing like crazy :giddy: :giddy: ). Most imptly, I was on fresh tyres and damn....I love the tyres. My confidence grew at every lap. My best timing yet was on lap 3 of the 5 lap challenge where I had quite a clear track.

Hi R6uddin66, may i ask you wat tyre pressure u r using?

Last weekend I set to 30 front and rear since I am on fresh tyres. Normally after 2 sessions I set it to 29 front/rear. But this is subjective to weather condition as well. I find this setting suits me the best. :thumb:

Oic, I am also in the 30 psi. But the rear tyre wear isn't right. Hmm.. maybe my suspension setup is still not good enough.

Yes bro, suspension setting and riding style (gearing) and technique (e.g. hard braking) affect the tyre wear. I had that problem before. A much senior rider once pointed out my mistakes in gearing juz by looking at my tyres. As for the psi setting you got to trial n error for a few laps to see which one works best for u. 2 of the fastest riders I know at PG use a completely different psi settings and yet their timing are comparably fast.

Riding technique also affect tire wear.

I think so tat way also. cos everytime i exit the corner, i was not able to gas it like the way i want. I can only gradually increase my speed. I think that might be one of the factors that affect the wear of my rear tyre. I am still working on the rear suspension. Still a stock suspension. Just trying to get the most out of it... So any pointers?

This is just a part of my thoughts. Correct me if i am wrong. Any inputs, very much appreciated.

Gearing? Hmmm.... wondering is there any prob with me? Anyway, maybe u can elaborate further.

This is my latest video. Just wondering if there is any comments?

Next time I might try to drop abit on the rear PSI and try it out.

You do ur own suspension setup ? Maybe you can try look for Bikelab, pay a small fee and ask them to set for you. They do a very good job in setting suspensions. Can balance the bike setup very well.

Oic. They do setup for stock suspension? Maybe I will drop by there to check it out with Joshua.
