Just changed to yss yesterday. Cause budget constraint. Dunno how to write review cause if compare with my previous shock, new shock definitely better right?

I was told yss cannot service. But not sure if it's because of the price for servicing is close to a brand new yss. Mine comes with the canister.

hi ppl! do your know how much is the fork tube cost? after chging the fork seal, it leaks again, my mech told me might need to chg the fork tube already.. but itseems pricey!! any advise ?

time to seek 2nd opinion at another shop to confirm.

 

chances are the installation wasn't done properly, and the new seal was damaged during installation and caused the leak.

anyone used ohlins 142 before? how is it compared to stock? seems abit pricey since it only got the spring preload adjustor, and not fully adjustable unlike the 145 and bitubo.

Ohlins142 are XJR stock shocks correct me if i'm wrong?

Well it practical enough for every usage, I have own, thinking of selling off 1000k only use for 01 month old.

The 145 are the high end for ohlins, much more ex .

$240 for back suspension fully rebuild...tell him I recommended you.

My experience with the bike is that the rear shocks are not so bad but the forks are absolutely crap.

The springs are way too soft and the front dives when you come off the power, making the back slide all over the place if you are mid way through a corner

 

What have you guys done for the forks?

I have been thinking of getting some USD forks, not sure how much work it would be though

Bro ahpek .. Im using spec1. My show is vtec red colour. Can i ask if teckthye service my shock on the spot? Coz im using my bike for my job. Btw i really think ure a pro in s4 .. I like reading ur post bro...

He does..he starts work at 1 pm..if you the first one there, he should be able to do it..otherwise call to ensure b4 u go down. If this is not feasible, he close at night till 10 pm. the job to rebuild takes about half an hour to 1 hr the most depending on ur current status of the suspension.
