Hey Guys,

Just want to know how much 2T to pour into my tank if i want to premix my fuel.

Just wanna know the percentage or how much 2T/litre of petrol.

Btw,im riding NSR 150 SP. and does it differ from bike to bike coz i rode Vespa b4 and the 2T i put in is 2% of the petrol.

Thanks a bunch.........

Stock is good...Choose your weapon wisely and enjoy it...you can have all the $$$$ to mod and in the end you can't make full use of it....

bro, any other mods to your bike? 20ml-25ml per litre of petrol is considered on the safe side.. you can lessen the mixture to 15-18ml/L if u wld like to try.. cos u imagine.. for example: ur 2t reservior is 1L, you fill it up.. how long then u top up again? maybe after 4-6 full tank?

eg: 1 full tank 10L so.. 50L on avg? therefore.. 50L petrol = 1000ml of 2t..

means.. 1L of petrol u r using 20ml of 2t.. lidat lohs..?

if u scare piston jam.. best is stick with 20ml/L.. most safe one.. if still scare increase to 25ml/L lohs.. =)

too much 2t = ur carb mixture is 2t more than fuel+air..

rmb to get those small bottles for ur 2t..

Take into account that different brands of 2T offer a different lubricating capability. The recommended mixing ratio is normally printed on the bottle itself. Always refer to the recommended mixing ratio of the specific 2T.

Taking Motul600 2T as an example. The mixing ratio is recommended to be 1:50 which means

2% (fuel in Litres) = amount of 2T to be poured in.

For the first time, pour 2% of your entire fuel tank worth of Motul600 into your fuel tank.

If your full tank is 14L.

0.02(14) = 0.28L = 280ml of 2T.

Subsequently only top up 2T with the top up fuel

If you top up 8.67L of fuel

0.02(8.67) = 0.1734L = approx 170ml

Too much 2T can cause too much smoke. too little 2T can cause lack of lubrication.

At the same time, if you're going on pre-mix, ensure your 2T pump has been removed and the 2T feed sealed off. Otherwise the pump will contribute to unnecessary extra 2T feed.

Thanks guys. Yup..Juz like i guess,its 2% of fuel.Like my old Vespa.

Anyone riding NSR150SP or know abt it.Coz i donno how to turn the 2T feed off.

Its either turn 2T feed off or remove 2T pump or need do both?

yes bring 2t along in small bottle(u need to know the capacity of the little bottle.) then when u pump petrol, take not of how many litre.. if i nv rem wrongly, one litre with 22ml of 2t will do. troublesome la. everytime before start must shake ur bike to mix the 2t with fuel. haha

i dont advise using premix if ur bike is fully mod and using it for either track or drag usage.. :) its a way damn troublesome whenever u wanna pump petrol. Can u image u cant pump petrol wifout 2T

♡When gURLS stops being *****, I will stop being a *******!! Seriously that is impossible:angry:

store them in those little cough syrup bottles. i think every time you pump petrol, it would just require about or less then 200ml of 2T. If you need more get a slightly bigger bottle or have 2 of them?

these bottles are pretty small and can easily fit under your seat or rolled up in a towel and placed at the speedo area.

hope this helps

the container not necessary.. but better if u remove the pump as the 2t reservior is empty but it's still running.. there's a gear that suck the 2t in.. you remove it then the bike will have 1 job lesser to do.. =)

premix rawks la.. good response and smooth throttle control.. tats my opinion..

ok.

cos got 2t pump already then piston is getting the required 2t, so if u are not traveling @ high speed, its not necessary to premix.

up to individual preference.

someone confirm disagree wif my statement, okok, treat me as i talking nonsenses.

nt necessary.. some people 2t not big enuff.. some is too small.. insufficient lubricant..

i using esse gold n castrol r2

those r not premix 2t.. they r nrml fully synthetic 2.. premix 2t better use to use ester based.. castor based i heard better but cannot mix..(might be wrong...)
