i have a big serious problem here.need help ):

i just bought a sp.and when today i go collect it find it some of problem.

 

1st. my bike will get very hot at the oil tank.i have put coolant already.

2nd.my fork is more on the left side the handle bar there.

3rd. got funny noisy.

4th.one side fairing didnt scew. -.-

 

anyone know how can i get it all fix as for the fork thing is it able to fix it and around how much? ):

For the 1st problem, for the petrol tank to get hot is only by heat generated by your engine. There is no contact between your petrol tank and engine only connected by a tube going to your carb.... So that means your engine is extremely hot till the steam cause the tank to get hot...

What does your temp meter say?

 

For the 2nd problem I dont quite understand what you trying to say... Sorry bro...

 

For the 3rd find the root of the sound where its coming from... It could be it just need some oiling...

 

4th problem go buy screw and screw yourself... Color ones only cost $1.20. Go to LAB there at kelantan lane. Many shops over there are selling them.

the temp meter went almost to the top of it.and the sound think come from my pistol if not the enigine lor.what can i do uh?if not is my carb spoil?neeed go waste first or?

Wah temp meter reach top mean serious liao. gasket gone liao faster go change 8 dollar if not later become 500 dollar overhaul.kn0cking sound might be the previous owner whack the bike jia lat liao piston injured liao.

thanks.i go back to the shop already.i told the mech people my fork is not straight when turn will rub against something.they told me the bike can go stright can liao.wth lor.and i went to another shop the person say need overhaul the machine as he got test and listen to the sound and advise me to do so.anyone try before overhaul most expensive how much uh?

i dun think need overhaul.. btw, i'm riding KR150, just my 2 cents of comments.

 

1) flush your coolant.. check your radiator..

2) change fork seal or refill your fork oil.. cause the oil gone liaoz.. or the handlebar got problem..

3) I see below that you mentioned also knocking sounds, might be produce by your chain.. check your chain tightness and kick start and all screw whether are they tight.. and lastly, check for any loose metal stuff..

4) fairing did not screw in or no screws? if nv screw, just screw in with a allen key, if no screw, go back to the shop and ask for it.. It's 99% FOC... 1% they are out to chop u..

2) i i planning to go to another bike shop which they bend or knock back or what for me.cause i went back the bike shop the mech there is like damn lazy dont want to help me do that.

if your temp can go to near the red zone area 95% is your coolant dried up liao then until the gasket tt on your engine block crack. No choice one SP old bike liao some more from shop. If the knocking really bother u get it change lo do a overhaul or what if not leave it until bo bian then change .If the fork really not straight u can ask vtec88 he got 2nd hand fork or go planet or republic motor see they got 2nd hand.My advise for you if u wanna replace a part look ard in forum 1st then go to shop.

heyy... hihi!

1st. i think there's a problem on ur radiator that's why the temp. is high cause its not working properly. u should get it fixed before the heat affects other parts of your engine.

2nd. Its either they didnt make the thing equal on both sides? if youre saying that the fork on the left is much more higher than the one on the right. OR something got to do with the cone bearing that make ur bike go more on the left?

3rd. Got funny noise? hmmm SP's have alot type of noises, can be from your engine or even on your block area? try listening... if rattling sound on your engine it might be the clutch plates or etc. If block? hmmm im not too sure...

4th. Bro if one side of your fairing is not screwed you can get it at any bike shop for those allen key type...

 

im not a pro at SP's but that is jus my 0.000002cents....

thanks guys.but the fairing part cant be tighten leh.seem like the bike got serious accident before lor.but currently im planning to make all my engine and stuff first.then make the outlook of it.bike outside nice inside cmi.no use also.lol.thanks for so many advise.think i go for an overhaul and to make sure everything is ok lor.

This is extremely sad! I believe that the shop should provide you with a working bike in proper working condition when you collect it. If not - they should make it so.

 

Again - it comes back to the point that - IF YOU WANT TO BUY A BIKE - GO TO A PROPER SHOP THAT HAS A GOOD REPUTATION AS INDICATED IN THIS FORUM BY OUR BROTHERS HERE.
