I am going to Cameron highland for 3 days 2 nights stay. I am thinking whether can I travel down to genting on the second day? How should I go about it?

Yes you can. I wanted to do it too, but didn't because of time constraint. Had only 3 days to go Malacca, Sunway lagoon and Cameron Highlands.

 

Went by NSHW to Cameron last june (the Iskandar waterfall side) after an over night stop over at Sunway Inn, straight up explored Bee Farm & Strawberry farm. Boh Tea was close that day and down the next day. Passed by the Genting exit on the way back, so totally possible. You can go Genting first then Cameron highland if you want too. Just make sure you have time and budget.

I am actually traveling up via coach.

How long is the journey from Cameron to genting by taxi? Is it possible?

Advise the duration and the costs if possible.

No idea, never tried that before, coach is usually tour company one.

Never heard of getting a one way ticket up, then take taxi to Genting.

I doubt any taxi will take you to Genting from Cameron. Distance around 250km

what i can think of is to take a coach from C.H to Ipoh then to KL.. then from KL u can either take a bus/Taxi up Genting

i drove up to cameron b4. V tiring. left at 4am reached at 2pm with a few necessary short stops. avg 130kph.

 

possible to go to genting but it nt near fyi.
