Thanks for the welcome, menace66! Thinking of getting the shorter length license plate holder. Not the tail tidy, obviously LTA magnet. Feel that the stock license plate holder is a wee bit too long : (

I bought PI from Looi's. Black color. DW dun have next batch til April, i cannot wait becios of coe factor. Signed last Saturday, two more weeks to go.

Good evening, sorry to hijack into here. To the R1200 BMW. FT71xx, sorry abt the normal beam pointing skywards just now at KPE at abt 8pm. Was not feeling abit well, tats why did not notice the fault. Now fault corrected. Cheers.....

oops.... sorry, did not notice this post..... sorry, late follow up... i bought the 2008 990r second hand in Nov 2011 so far, so good; light and flickable; average tank range is 250km for 15litres b4 reserve starts... funny thing is, if ride like i stole it, engine heats up... if cruise, temp is manageable exhaust is stock; stock flyscreen changed for a taller piece. 2012 990r are double seater; and latest i heard is no more 990r after 2013. hope this info helps.

sorry to intrude, am not a Versys owner (yet), but am reading this thread abt Versys, maybe considering one (1000) in the near future. re your search for used Versys, saw one pre-owned 650 in Excel, try calling them at 68422 360; David or Lawrence. Excel have the new 1000 too, tats why i have the recent contemplation : ) Cheers...!!!!

my apologies, not with the current topic flow but just tot i add this bought this from BikeTech21, waited two months (norm), LTA inspected/viewed, went final inspection, passed n given "birth cert" for the Arrow. This Arrow is dark aluminium slip-on with carbon cap; S$1,200.00 : ) any difference in HP? fuel consumption? dB difference? sorry again, not bothered abt these : ) just wanted a different look from stock. wishing all a Happy Lunar New Year! with Prosperity and Health to one and all in the year of the Water Dragon! one of my current squeeze, the Diavel, seems to drink a lot, and no doubt has only one boob (one headlight), yes maybe the legs are too long (wheel base), may have one rear tat maybe a bit too phat, and may break my bed if we get in together, but i still like/love her; yes, for me, its a passion. : )

i second the "go for it" : ) i dun think u will regret it (basically, the bike). had my b-king since day One, for 43,000km without problems, only had to change battery once at 41,000km. stock air filter, plugs, chain = "bullet proof" engine
