Gilera Fuoco 500 - 2009 /2010

Hi Magoo, my gf who's riding the bike most of the time is experiencing coolant leak frequently. Apparently due to the hose and it seems that there are plenty similar cases that precedes. Can you elaborate on your hose routing? Preferably with pictures.

I'll try to look for the pix. In the meantime, look underneath the front portion of the bike, locate the radiator fan motor and you'll see the coolant rubber pipe resting on top of the motor. Eventualy the rubbing caused by the vibration will chafe the rubbe tube and cause a leak. On my bike I used a few pieces of tie wrap to brace it away and its worked perfectly.

After reading this thread, I found out this bike is fabulous. Can I also ask a few question?

 

1) The bike seems a little big in the front, therefore, can it squeeze through barriers for locations with free parking?

 

2) I presume this bike also takes 2 motorcycle parking lots too?

the size of the front is like any other maxi scooter.

squeezing not a prob and parking only 1 lot. its smaller than the Goldwing. if Goldwing can take 1 lot, this bike can also. unless u riding the Can-Am Spider.
