Is it possible to transfer ownership of a bike to a person without license?

I was thinking of doing a layup and transfer of ownership and then leaving it at the HDB carpark till I pass my license.

Cant really wait till I pass my license then transfer cause my friend is going overseas soon.

Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, you can. But you need to inform the counter during the tranfer that you want the bike to be layup (so the bike don't need to be insure) also I think the counter might will ask you where (place) do to you want to layup your bike? If you want to layup at your car park then you might need to purchase the season parking.

But when the bike on the road then you need get insurance 1st then follow by the bike (reason is the bike is under layup) need to go for inspection then proceed to LTA to get the road tax & the last thing MUST do paste the "Probation" sign on the bike (of course, congratulations to you too) :D

If pass & didn't paste the "Probation" sign when get caught as 1st timer is fine around $1×× (if I not wrong) as the 2nd offender think will revoke the license. :(

For more info. Please call LTA before you proceed it. :D
