Bro, I think Yamahur is saying, comparing Indian Octane and Yamaha MT10, both OTR in Singapore is about $30k, but Indian Octane and Yamaha MT10 have OMVs of $10.5k and $14k respectively, then isn't it the bike shop made extra $3.5k plus taxes from the innocent buyer? In other words, the buyer unknowingly paid at least $3.5k as profit to the shop selling Indian Octane.

Correct me if I'm wrong Yamahur.

Sorry but i doubt so since he uses the term USD. It sure sounds like he pick up those figure from some US sales websites

yupz.. I was referring to US selling price. How to get the OMV for each bike? You're right OMV wud be a better calculation.

 

I shortlist bike based on my heart but if its overpriced, I wont get it. I will support dealers that give fair pricing.

I think nobody except the agent can give u an accurate omv amount. U will only know the omv after buying, written in the 'Log card'

Getting my class 2 soon and was hoping to get a dark horse of even a chieftain. Interestingly, there isn't a single used Indian bike for sale.

Victory & Indian r not the usual bikes that riders buy & sell regularly & they r ard in SG for only a few yrs thus re-sale bikes r rare. Besides it is a niche gp & the bikers will tend to keep their bikes for a longer time. I intent to keep my for as long as mortally possible since annual insurance & rd tax really ain't too expensive ya. Next in my list will be a classic crusier

Hi people, would you buy a dark horse and install saddle bags and 2 up seats or would you just buy a chieftain? Honestly I like the chieftain but being inexperience, I'm worried about the handling due to the fairings/batwing. Still few months away from getting my class 2. Can't wait to get my class 2 bike. Pardon the eagerness lol.

Saw 1 'Grey' FBK, berely 1/2 yo, Indian Scout for sale in Mah. Alittle rust on the windshield, look like it has been left there forgotten by the world. Curious & i asked the sales. Apparently it belongs to an old Man who is not in good health to ride thus bike was left there for sale with only ~100km on it, still needs to break-in.
