I get from them. 4 days after i pay money then can get liao. I never bother calling the clark one. I just tok to the salesman. Maybe u should call him when it is thurs lor. Anyway just to let u know. COE is comfrim bid already. Cos they will bid before hand one. But on why they need so long to get the bike maybe due to shipping problems but then it is impossible la cos speedway got other links that might be able to get the bike one.

lol, well where's cjc??? hahaha, i only notice the whole trip to bukit timah only saw one speedcam on bridge......from there i rode 80kph, so minus off 10km/h roughly, i was only at 60plus km/h.....coz i was waiting for u, so had keep to left lane long ago before i reach that bridge.

 

total how many speedcam u saw??? i saw one....

The guy was on the overhead bridge near the police academy, ###### assholes, lucky I dare not ride the bandit fast...

one thing about speedway... is that they tok alot of kok leh. when i went down in jan asking about the price of the r6 (i actually ordered from albert motor since nov), they quoted me less than albert motor by 500 otr, even offered to 'absorb' the 500 deposit i gave albert motor already.

 

talked to the salesman, he claimed that they would be the first to get the bike OTR and that they had 10bikes in their storehouse. he said they had 10 out of 14 from the first batch. i talked to the boss, he claimed that yes they had 10 out of 22 from the same batch. which to believe? the boss talked kok about the r6 also, thou he got most of the facts wrong. anyway i only saw 2 bikes at speedway at that time, it was still pending registration at the beginning of jan.

 

well, i went to ask around, and most of the ppl i know told me what they said was BS, even albert motor had only 3 bikes from the first batch. once i went to talk to the boss for albert about what speedway claimed, he promised me i would get my r6 OTR first on the road, and there were only 14 for the first batch (if albert had 3, speedway 10, how about the rest of the bike shops? i know loois had 1 or 2 also.)

 

luckily i stuck with albert, i got my bike a day earlier then all the rest of the r6, and i actually found out speedway could not deliver what they promised to some ppl

oh yeah their 'cheaper by 500 otr price' did not include gst albert already calculated the gst in.

 

fook! think u can trust speedway? well i dont know, i only know im going to albert motor to buy my next bike, no matter what ppl say about them (i hear the stories, and i think its bs anyway. but maybe its just my thinking?). speedway? never going back ^^

 

anyway i thought songweiqi gonna get a nsr150? lol what made you change ur mind?

Well, tell me which bike shop does not "bull sh|t"? I doubt there are any in Singapore at all. Honestly, I rather buy straight from a seller, or get it brand new from the Honda/ Ducati/ etc. agent, less crap from them. Ha ha ha...

 

Anyway, hard truth, tested a Sparks a few times in school, regret to tell you, one of the worse cubs I ever tested, the best is still the Y125Z, and if I have to count in a 4 stroke, top of the charts still the X1.

hey ravensp...haiz..just hope i can get my bike on time...or i will request my deposit back if they ask me to wait any longer already...then maybe go other bike shops to buy...well..just like the look of spark..and also heard that cubs have really good fuel consumption ma...besides a 4-stroke engine easier to maintain..but Sp is still in my list...if this spark deal were to fall off..guess I am looking for SP again? haha~ see how this spark deal goes...SP is my all time favourite la..just that...at times...think I would want more relax riding lor...

Ha ha ha, that is what you say now, wait a few days and mods will start appearing on your bike, and a cub can hit 100km/h in 4 secs if "zhenged" right, have you seen those crazy thai ppl?

 

Here is a list of new stuff I saw and heard of for cubs, programmable CDI, full magnesium Marvic rims, exhaust full systems (exhaust come up from under the seat), slick tires, etc.

 

A cub is a good idea, I may be getting a Y125Z if I get more cash soon, heard it is good for "FUN"...

U p plate better don't mod the bike la. If not rd blocks will get u into lots of trouble.

hey...kahwee...don't worry la..i don't have intentions to mod my bikes one...even if i get SP or KR...coz my cousin...under my mum's request..is told to watch over me..so say if i get SP..wan to mod abit also kena pao do one haha..my cousin anyway knows quite alot about bike..so I am under his "supervision" haha...sian...my mum jus scared i die on road..muahaha~ silly idea...anyway..really hope to see u guys on the road of campus sOOON bloody sh*t..today I called my salesman..he himself...keeps murmuring...and cannot give me exact date to hand over bike...i asked thurs can? he say no...coz maybe wed or thurs then get the paperwork done...then i asked fri? sat? he said...MAYBE...ask me wait for call...haizz...this sat is the agreed deadline...i thinking of going to speedway on thurs and ask...if by sat not ready..i want to ask them giv me back my deposit...guys..think possible ma? coz i really fed up they ask me wait wait wait..and...moreover...my fren willing to let go of his SP at 1.2k to me....FV plate...damn good condition..he is actually my distant relative...upgraded to driving..so see me budget let go so cheap muahahaha!! i check with my couz alrdy...tht bike in tip top condition...not cheating me..so now 2 hearted...sian....

There is no way u can get back ya deposit unless he got write in the recipt when he will deliver your bike. I would suggest u wait until the deadline time then head down and tok to them abt it. Since u decide to get wad bike le then stick to it better la.

First, there is only a word of mouth agreement about the date of delivery, and partially you too are to blame, everyone here can agree that you are just too anxious to get a bike. Honestly, gone are the days where you go buy a bike in the morning and can ride it later in the day.

 

A fellow experience, I bought an aftermarket racing exhaust. They say it will take a day or two, in the end, it took three months! That is the thing about motordiams.

Don't worry abt they will take more then 1 yr then deliver your bike. Why not u wait until the deadline for them to deliver your bike and then go down and ask them personally if it is not deliver by the date. Don't kan chiong. The time for u to ride bike is coming. :thumb:
