you might think that attendants dont check whether you folded your coupons, but they do.

 

and if you do that, you are liable to be charged for cheating. and you'll be cheating the goverment no less.

 

and the summons for folding coupons is shitloads more than if you didnt put a coupon.

 

so either you put a valid coupon or dont... but never ever fold your coupons.

 

a while back a friend's father got summoned $500 for folding his coupons.

 

i tried folding a coupon before and the attendant really came to check. luckily he/she was kind enough to help me tear it out and not summon me for cheating.
