HELP ! enquiry abt motorbikeshops & some qns

First of all, i'm sry if this question have been posted for many times but i can't find it on the forum. But firstly, i just wanna know, for a krr150 FV plate quote a $3500 machine price coe 5and1/2 yrs , it's nt so worth it right?? i nearly give the downpayment out of anxious having a bike as the paint work is quite well done, for engine wise i test the bike, guess it's okay but i'm still a newbie so i can't confirm tt. & i'm nt sumone who'll voice out much so for the freebie, i wont ask unless he give it. So the machine price is ex right?

 

another matter is can any 1 quote me which place gt alot of bike to see & choose from?? I've been travelling around but sometime not familiar so alway waste money on cabs.. So hope someone can enlighten me soon, as i dont have so much cash, all i can afford is 600 or 700 den continue installment.. Forum mostly is full cash, c also sad.. :cry:

Hi bren,

 

In my opinion, I think you should have the type of bike that you would want to buy in mind first, eg scooter, scrambler , kup cai etc.. With that, you can do a further research / compare on the pricing involve in owning one. (1st or 2nd hand, fuel consumption, parts etc)

 

As for the recommendation of bike shops, there are many mentioned in the forum. What would help to save on the taxi fare is that you could ask a fren who is riding to ride you there and treat him dinner.

 

In my opinion, if you don't mind 2nd hand bike, save only a bit more and then buy/bargain from fellow forumers.

Hey there, for the record, I accompanied a friend of mine to buy a KRR150 and coincidentally, it's also an FV-plate. Machine price of $2400 from a shop in Yishun. Don't get cheated, aite? Take your time to look around first. Ask a friend to go with you and probably get a ride from him as well, so you can save on the cab fare. G'luck.

my advise is save more $$ bike can wait. yup like someone mention u should determine wat u wanted at the 1st place...

yeah... true.. else you get a loan first from your family or who-so-ever,maybe the bank if you can afford the interest rate den buy from the net... try not to go to the shop if you dunno them else... engine no good you also dunno...have to get a KR friend with you if you buying KR.. Sp rider if you buying SP... more recommended as they are riding it everyday... ^_^

any wae FV for that price is too ex...

nowadays it will be lesser then 3.5 for a krr FV/X/T/S

anyway // i already make a downpayment for a krr bike . At first he tell me e insurance for my age NTUC sport bike is 780 den i paid 800 downpayment. yet, today called me tell me my insurance is 907. I felt so disappointed some hw.. coz at first i wan e bike n e insuranc is 780 & nw i've to fork out another 100!!

lolx.. at 1st quote $780 for insurance dan change to $900++? U mean they happy happy can adjust the price? They shd have a list of a few company of insurance agent with the quote on it..

zyrofillica, i'm not over excited or whatsoever. I'm veri clear he quoted me $780 for a 19yrs old insurance krr bike.. & den i put downpayment.. Only after a few days near e days i go collect e bike den he mistaken is 907.. So everiting has sign, do u tink after being so hapi knowing getting a bike n den cant get again?? bike itself 2400 fu plate.. But bo bian la, i 19 mahs, normally insurance around dere..
