well .. even if we bought bike frm forummer oso wont confirm bike is well maintained. ppl got no choice to look at bike shop bcos of low cash whom cant afford full payment. most bike shop after-sales oso like that maa.b4 buying they entertain u very well.

my advice is to bring along fren with knowledge in engine. used bikes sure got some prob. do servicing in other shop lah. i'm sure bros here can recommend some reliable mech

I mean if they show you an signed agreement, ok bo pian..but if they can't show any signed paperwork, citing only "company policy"..Are they allowed to charge an early settlement fee?

 

I'm have a big problem now with the moto shop..My old bike balance is ard $7.6K. I trade in my old bike to another moto shop for a brand new bike. Then S@#$%^RN M@#$O say total early repayment fee is $8.8K!!!

 

WTF..where the hell that extra $1.2K come from??? If its 100 to 200 admin fee, its ok..but $1.2K lei...

 

I asked the admin girl why so much penalty..she can only say, "the computer show me like that"

 

I'm going to that blardy mototiam in person today and blast everyone there if there is no signed agreement to show!!!

Went to the shop and they couldn't produce the agreement on the spot..Citing reasons that its stored with the finance company. So to say that I still have not seen the signed agreement on the penalty fee. They said to wait for a week before they can produce the agreement..

 

I'm now resigned to pay the penalty fees cause I'm sure by the time 1 week is up..they have got ample time to "magic" one early repayment agreement signed under my name. Its a modern world today..they can zap ur signature in full colour and print it over a new early repayment agreement. Or some other up to date methods...

 

I can't take the feeling of paying some a'holes $1500 of my hard earned money for nothing...

 

Also..2day I have discovered some interesting facts..Some motoshops don't see each other eye to eye so came this early repayment fees. If shop A is in good terms with shop B..you will not have to pay any early repayment fees or a minimum sum only but if vice versa..they will put a hefty price to the early repayment fees to try to undermine the new hire purchase agreement. End up..its the customers who have to pay if they still insist of jumping boat and go with the hire purchase of the rival shop..

 

Why can't we consumers have the freedom of choice? Can we do anything about this and complain to the authorities??

Lesson learnt for me.. Its a fact I'm being charged $1200 for early settlement fee.

 

I think now I hold the Singapore Guinness Book of Records 'for the highest settlement fee charged'..

this is Singapore, they can't really forge ur signature, else later caught big issue.. (i no lawyer, dunno if jail term for forgery.

 

it's best we ask properly b4 change ownership or sell our bike.. sometime i see ppl make so much noise, but at the first place, why aint you check with you bike shop first before you decide?? wanna furk, dun wanna use condom, kena AIDS then make noise got use mei..

sp- battery ( wrong voltage ) and had to change new cdi.
