LOUSY After sales service :Take note and don't go the bike shop

Bike shops at Bukit Merah area all very famous one leh... I will never recommend any newbies to go there. Even old birds/regular customers also kena chop... newbies go there confirm become pieces...

Would NOT even mention that place, not even for a repair man!

This is my encounter, Buying bike from some where you got to be careful of something..

 

1. some one ask you to sign all the document. dun blindly sign sign sign... check through the paper work..

 

2 some one will give u a early settlement paper to sign. Not to sign... sign die liao... i got my penatly at $800.

 

3. When u confirm to buy right, some one will get a big paper which is green in colour, check that there were a early settlement wording there. try to ask some one to cancel. If no, AT YOUR OWN RISK

 

4. Getting a new bike, a lot of hidden cost.

 

5. Collection of bike, upon collection of bike, some one need u to pay a 1++ or 2++ for collection bike. if u don't pay, what happen. NO BIKE TO TAKE ONLY so u L L got to pay..

 

6. Getting bike from some one is risking yr $$, Y? Cos all the bike some one take in without any repair n than sell. Just wash back side n SHOW.

 

MY CONCLUSION, getting any bike from some one is a stupid fellow... Y cos a lot of SO GOOD thing happening there.. U think u getting cheap price over there, infact NO, Cos some one Paran has been sharpening when some one tell u that the machine price is cheap, but in problem bike. in the end, PAY MORE. If you guys like to pay more over some where. Y more pay a little bit more at UNIVERSAL MOTOR although they charge a little bit higher, BUT no HIDDEN cost. I been getting a few bike with them with no Problem with that. Just my sharing. Collection of bike, DAVID (salesman) will explain the detail this or that.

HIDDEN COST? NO WAY MAN

INTEREST (interest is about the same if u doing a survey)

BIKE CONDITION? NO PROBLEM, y when they take back they will do a OPERATION ON IT TO CHECK up..

Long long ago, my friends oso buy bikes from there. Till now SM still no change, still so bad reputation. Lotsa bike shops in ubi leh - just a suggestion. U really need to know a good reputation shop. My mech-cum-boss honours his used bikes but he got an "attitude" that not all can take it.

as for me, when i signed the agreement letter, i was highlited bout tha early settlement n also bout tha penalty if i trade in my bike to another shop within a certain period of time.. letme giv u 1 example which i remember, i used to had 3 yrs installment wif tat shop, n the terms was tat, if i wanna trade in to another shop, i can only trade afta 20months of installment wif tat shop..within 20months, there will b fine by tat motorshop..n tat motorshop was $******N M****....other motorshop dun hav penalty for early settlement n trade-in fine ah??

hmm i do agree that some bike shops never state clearly enough on the early settlement thing. When they are trying to push for sales, those stuffs that will spoil the buyers' mood, salesman tends to avoid them. I personally encounter such a situation before when i got the first bike.

just one to add .... fyi ....de xing also has early settelment fees and to my amazement , they has a compulsory renew insurance at them shop ... no going to insurance company n they charge you $5 ... i did ask them unfair , the cleck reply ," Don't like that mah , we all also want to earn money "
