Installing a hook on SYM GTS200

Dear all or whoever owns a SYM GTS200 scooter,

 

Need your assistance on this. I often buy takeaways and leave it in my bike box. But however, the stench of the food often leaves a smell overnight and makes my helmets smelly.

 

I have saw riders installing a hook below their handlebar and they would tend to hang their takeaways there!

 

It would be very useful to me!

 

I have attached a photo of the hook.

 

Anyone can advise me on where to buy the hook and how to install?

Won't the food sway left and right while you are riding back?

Yes but the food usually won't overspill. Usually I hang my food over my handlebar, no issue if no big movements.

Nope. It won't as it is quite stable when u hang it

it will sway and potentially spill only if you keep doing hard braking.

 

in normal riding, even hard cornering, it doesn sway much coz centrifugal force keeps it in place the same way your body doesn feel like swaying or falling.

 

i always hang groceries and stuff from my helmet hook located underneath my pillion seat compartment.

 

note though, if you hang one side and its particularly heavy, you can feel it in your bike's handling. but only when really heavy, like a few bottles of water. i regularly have to buy bottles of milk for kids. otherwise, like a 2 or three packets of food, u hardly feel a thing.
